I bought this book to read at night instead of taking sleeping pills...Works great !

Even if you haven't thought about selling on ebay, or if you think you might want to sell something other than vintage and gold jewelry, this book lays out the basics for selling ANYTHING on ebay. The author takes you on a partial journey of her life and trials and makes it a fun read as well as an informative one. I was able to purchase a butterfly pin that is pictured in this book, and knowing the history and author's love of her items and about her passion for writing and helping others, it is even more special. Buy this book! You won't be sorry you did.

I was selling vintage jewelry on EBay without a clue as to what I was doing. I'd read some online articles and read Ebay's recommendations, but I was having trouble trying to put it all together. I Love this Book!!! I like the fact the Author shared some of her personal life struggles and her successes. I was able to relate to her experiences and her success with selling vintage jewelry online really gave me hope that I can do this successfully. It helped me to understand the best route to list items, shipping, (I ordered a scale and other items she suggested, I realize I was doing things the really hard way).Very precise and to the point and easy to read. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this book. There is a lot of excellent advice on how to get top dollar for your gold, silver andvintage jewelry. The author gives you detailed examples of how to sell your jewelry online, and compareshow much you can make selling online versus selling to the gold buyers. She had information on this book thatI had not read in other books, such as what items sell best seasonally, how to market your jewelry to get top dollar withthorough descriptions and"background stories", and lots of other advice I had not thought of.

I bought this book for personal use. I'm just starting out collecting vintage jewelry and have never sold anything online. I found it to have good information in an easy to read/understand format. Definitely recommend!

This book's simple, straightforward title belies its rich resource value. She offers solid tips for everything from what types of tools are helpful, assessing value, pitfalls & cautions, write-ups, mailing practices, and avoiding mistakes that she learned from. Tech savvy and up to date, this is a well-organized, complete guide that will be useful, whether a person is selling one charm bracelet or a whole box of Grandma's jewelry.

Haven't had enough time yet to delve deeply into this book but I plan to when I start going through some vintage jewelry I have from my mother and aunt in preparation for selling it. I worked with Micki many years ago so knowing her I'm sure this is a thoroughly researched, informative, and enjoyable book.

I bought it hoping to learn something new but only found that it rubber stamped my own practice, as everything she discusses I had already learned or deduced for myself.Still a good book for anyone starting out, if you bear in mind that there have been changes to eBay since it was written and that she is selling in the USA.

I love books like this as it reminds you that you are always learning. Full of useful information set out in an easily accessible format, and she has a really nice writing style.
