perfect for ALL GENRES! 😈
As a thrash/death metal drummer, these babies have been my sticks of choice for about 3 years now! If you're worried about the durability, I've had my new pair for about 2 months and they still feel great. The tapered top is perfect for blastbeats, and anything else for that matter. Overall, killer sticks!

The Boleros are the go to stick for concert snare drum. You get control and decent rebound. If you take the Boleros to the drum set, you get really dark woody cymbals. You get more wood than cymbal in fact. So I like the way the sticks feel and play generally, but I'm looking for a stick that gives my cymbals more ring.

My stick of choice
This is my favorite stick because of its touch and sound. The tip gives probably the best cymbal sound for articulate playing. I use it mainly for jazz because it offers a great degree of control and articulation for cymbals. The shoulder design enables easy accents for crashing or bells. Balance is superb and just feels great in the hand. The thickness of the stick makes it very easy to grip for both matched and traditional. I recommend this for fusion, jazz, latin, etc. for anything that doesn't require monster speed and aggression but musicality and articulation in a drum kit setting.
