Amazing Product. Worked well. (...don't know if I will buy it again.)
This is my first time using Just Egg vegan egg replacer. It was randomly $5 on Amazon Fresh where usually it's like $8 plus crazy shipping so I took a risk that it might not be in stock when my order shipped and grabbed it. I used it to make a vegan quiche. It worked out so well, the quiche was amazing. Even better than a chickpea quiche. It did take almost an hour to cook through. Added some Daiya provolone to the bottom, a homemade vegan butter crust, and it was phenomenal. If it's this easy to make a quiche I might have them more often. For the first time since I went vegan, it was a homey, spot-on nod to comfort food. Thank you Just Egg, it was a lovely treat. I did not make scrambled eggs with it, so I can't review that part. I did use an extra-large pie tin and the single bottle wasn't enough, if I make it again I will buy two bottles. But that's pricey at the price I did pay, imagine the price it's normally at. And what if you want to make 2 quiches to take to a party or something? I think they need to rethink the pricing on this product. Big Con: If you are vegan and you want to be uber conscientious, note the Just Egg product is made in a factory that produces eggs. It sorta squicked me reading that and I didn't use it right away after I bought it. I had decided to never buy it again, just to be safe ( real eggs really gross me out) but it cooks up so well I still might if the price is the same next time. Anyway if you are super strict vegan keep it in mind. Big Con: Price. Small Con: It didn't really taste like eggs? It handled similarly, and I liked it, but I don't think it tasted like them at all. Next time I cook with it I will add Black "kala" salt, to see if that helps. Small Con: It had an expiration date that was very soon from when I bought it. I mean if you buy real eggs they would go bad first but since it's just mungbeans and stuff I'm surprised it's so perishable. Pro: It works. Yum. Big Pro: It's vegan. I've missed eggs. Tip: Don't buy it to bake with. It's too pricey. You can buy 4 to-go cups of applesauce for a dollar and replace thrice that many eggs in brownie batters and stuff. There are also a million other substitutes, don't use this unless you miss eggs and want something real close.

Best vegan egg
Love Just Egg so much. My daughter loves it too. She’s 4 and loves to cook them herself. I’ve finally mastered an omelette and let me tell you, it’s so delicious! Instead of spending $6-8 on a brekkie sandwich from a coffee shop (which might not even offer plant based egg) you can make one at home and it’s way tastier and bigger. I will say that you need to use it before expiration date, I know obvious right? There are some products you can tell are still good even if a day or two past expiration, but just egg won’t be one of them. It spoils and you can tell. It’s not a huge bottle so using it before the E.D. Isn’t a problem. Overall, I recommend for anyone looking for a good egg substitute.

Vegan... eggs?
Just like eggs, this stiff contains a fair amount of 5g protein, but without the cholesterol. These "eggs" aren't just for vegans; they could be for egg-lovers who need to cut their cholesterol intake. Just Egg is composed of plant-based proteins, which is appearing now everywhere since the excitement of plant based burger's arrival to the market. Just a bit pricey. When I tasted my first bite, the taste, smell, and texture are very similar to an egg. Wonderful on a toasted bagel! try this recipe: Omelet (1 Serving) ½ cup Just Egg (per omelet) ¼ cup mushrooms ¼ white onion 5 grape tomatoes, sliced (any vegetables you like in your omelet) Vegan cheese (optional) Saute onions and mushrooms until translucent and browned Add vegetables to ½ cup Just Egg Use a quality nonstick pan and heat it to medium-low Pour Just Egg with sauteed vegetables into the heated pan Cook on medium-low until brown on one side. Flip omelet over. Add sliced tomatoes and add vegan cheese if using. Fold one side of the omelet over to melt the cheese. Serve with breakfast potatoes, toast, and/or fruit

This stuff is wonderful but confusing.
I'm on a slow quest to cut animal products from my diet. I got my reasons! Most of it has really been no problem, but I love eggs and cutting that was proving difficult. I'll try anything once, so I gave this a shot. The good part is this stuff is delicious. Borderline indistinguishable from real eggs in taste. Ultimately, that's all I care about, so I'm on my third bottle of Just Egg. Total winner. Would buy again. And again. But in the interest of full disclosure: I found cooking it a bit difficult. It doesn't really cook like an egg... the initial pour is quite runny, and I had a tough time hitting that sweet spot between watery mess and fake egg brick. I've got that pretty well dialed in now, and my results are consistent. I've found a little longer cooking at a slightly lower temperature leads to good results. I've read reviews where people can't get a good scramble, or they have problems with sticking & burning, and to them I'd say watch the temp and slow your roll. I'm using pretty average hard anodized Circulon and there's just not been a burning (or cleaning) issue. Pro tip: Just Egg makes the whole Indian bread omelette/egg sandwich thing a knockout success. Some Just Egg, two slices of brioche, and some shredded cheddar (I know, animal product) is a great breakfast.

Amazing! I’m truly shocked! Great for scrambles, desserts, and recipes!
When I went vegan I was fine with never eating eggs again. I’ve never been a huge egg person, so I just didn’t care that much about never eating them again. I saw a few people buying these and was very surprised when they said you could make scrambled eggs with them. I bought the product because I just didn’t believe that could be true, and was shocked! They really do cook and act just like eggs! That’s not all you can use Just Egg for, though. I’ve used it in desserts that require eggs, including lemon bars. They cook just as regular eggs do in baking, and I’ve had no problem in any of the recipes I’ve used them in. If you are vegan and want to have the taste of eggs again, I definitely recommend these! They are also great for cooking eggy recipes that wouldn’t work with other egg replacements. Yes they are a little pricey depending on what store you buy them from, but it is much better to spend more on a cruelty free, vegan product than eggs that come from abused chickens.

Not Enough Value
I doubt I would make this a permanent alternative to eggs. First off, there's less product than buying a carton of eggs. I used the recommended serving size, and it equals to about half to a full regular egg. There are also only 8 servings which, again, is less value than a carton of eggs. Not only that, but it's recommended that you finish everything in a week from opening, which is a waste for me because I don't regularly eat eggs, but I can store what I don't use for quite some time. However, I will admit that the taste is quite discernable from real eggs. The food does have an obvious difference in consistency from real eggs, which can put some people off since others describe it as being "rubbery." Overall, this should be treated as a treat to have every once in a while, if you are more concerned about your budgeting. A regular carton of eggs would cover all your bases and hold out longer than this product, so I doubt I'll continue to buy this.

You'll Love Whether You like Eggs or Not!
I've been a vegetarian for over 30 years. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO EAT EGGS....EVER!!! That being said, the concept of omelettes and French Toast is something I'd enjoy. I was able to create a french toast alternative I call tofu toast, but omelettes proved impossible. The main problem is consistency. I saw this product and being the experimenter I am, I decided to give a try. Wow! It has a great flavor that doesn't try to resemble eggs but as someone who has eaten eggs before, I know everyone will enjoy. The consistency is absolutely on point. For me...5 stars. Now, I'm not as tough a judge as my wife. My son is a little more like me BUT he has discriminating taste as well. I took my first omelette and let him try it, I was met with rave reviews. Then we took it to my wife. She could be a food critic, that's how discriminating she is. My son and I watched as she gave it the smell test and then after passing that, put it in her mouth...Moments later, She likes it!!! If you pass my wife's test, then hey guys, you gotta try it.
