Surprisingly good! Just has a few highlights on the book, other than that it’s good!

I bought this for my nephew and his wife who do not live in the same town as me. However, I did get a chance to look through it before mailing it, and the book is comprehensive and documents instructions well. I was told that at the baby shower everyone wanted a chance to look through the book and that it was one of the best gifts received. Along with this book, I sent the Summer Infant Baby My Baby Sweet Dreams Baby Massage Set, also very well received. I will keep this combo in mind for future baby showers.

The massage techniques laid out in this book are easy to follow. Also, it is helpful that the book is not too wordy; the authors did a good job of using photos to communicate, which is helpful as with a newborn or young baby, one does not have time to read lengthy texts. The one thing that I question is the suggestion that young babies respond well to massages on a regular basis. In my case, my baby did not want to be massaged at a few weeks old. He seems to be responding better at 8 weeks old.

The descriptions are great and pictures helped a lot. A video would be much more helpful as I have to read in my spare time, practice on a stuffed toy, then have the book open and review as I'm massaging baby. I also find it easier to do it in steps as opposed to tryig to do the entire body all at once while still learning. So I'll start with chest/arms and then the next time add on stomach then legs etc. But I imagine it will get easier to remember after doing over and over.

I'm a massage therapist who teaches infant massage. I give this book to friends and relatives with new babies when I can't be there to teach them myself. I LOVE the whole book! The photos are adorable, and there are plenty of them. (I also like that there are all kinds of different babies. :) The text is simple and easy to follow. (Goodness knows, with a new baby, you don't need another 500-page how-to book!) I highly recommend it for new parents. Massage is more than just super-cuddling. It's a great way to bond with your baby (for dads too!). And it has a host of health benefits for giver and receiver alike.

Having attended a baby massage class a few years back, with a friend and their 7 month old who looked like they were thoroughly enjoying it.I thought this would be an ideal gift to give for another friend, who was expecting their first baby, so they could experience this too.

I am a massage therapist, and believe in the value of touch and massage for a growing baby. All of my pregnant mommies get this book with whatever organic baby lotion I love at that time!

I gave this as a gift to my brother and sister-in-law as it was recommended to me by a friend. They had already heard of massaging techniques for babies and loved the look of this book. I bought the book second hand but it looks brand new. So for a few quid I would recommend.

Superb details, clear instructions and the babies I have used it with loved it.Parents and students alike have all rated this as a worthwhile technique to learn.
