Higgins Safflower Gold Food For Parrots, 25-Pound

Can't seem to get this anywhere else for such a good price and regularly. My birds love this stuff and it is frequently out of stock with my Managed deliveries with Chewy.

My African Grey loves this food. Very high quality ingredients and even smells good! It costs more than others but is worth the money because the parrot actually eats it.Provides the nutrients a Grey needs.You can see the banana, mango, etc.. very clean appearance. The large bag saves trips to the store. Love it!

While my bird does love the product, my postal carrier did not deliver this at my address. In fact they said they delivered it on the 7th and it was not at my house but at the post office. They then left a message a day later saying sorry they missed me for delivery when I was here all day.

Seed and packaging was fine. Priced good.Only complaint is it took abit of time to get it shipped from NY-MO. Thank you!

This should be zero star. I will never buy this food again. I just waisted $75 on this food that my macaws will not touch. It doesn’t show any other images except the bag. I tried to return but they will not let me. I’m angry that I threw $75 away. Don’t buy.

I love how it’s dust free, has lots of fruits and vegetables, that the other ones didn’t have their very small, the only thing that I had to take out and crack was the almonds for my Congo’sOverall looks great…. I just don’t know if my Congo African grays are going to eat it..

I have a double yellow headed amazon whose diet I try to manage. In my opinion the food has some treats in it and a variety of seed and corn. My bird loves the food on the first day and chows down on the corn. I leave the food until everything is eaten to make sure he gets a good variety. I hold back the nuts to give a peanut some days or an almond in the shell. I also supplement with unsalted soybeans and apple or carrot. Unfortunately the bird always wants a piece of a cracker or chip and once a month I give him some sunflower seeds. I buy this food because the bird really likes it and it is helpful in limiting his weight.

I accidently ordered this instead of one with sunflower seeds. I didn't think my parrots would be happy at all, but they love it more than the one with sunflower seeds! I was surprised and if they're happy, I'm happy!
