Q: Does this new version smell different than the original?

I only bought it once and it was a great product

I use it on wet hair. It’s not a styling gel. It makes your hair soft and silky. I have thick wavy frizzy hair and this works very well with my hair to make it dry nice and with less frizz. I’ve put it on my daughters ends while dry and it seemed fine.

Q: Does it work on bleached damged hair ?

It will definitely help smooth your hair. It won't repair it like Olaplex will, but it will help the appearance. It's not a miracle worker, and the results, I've found are very temporary... However I continue to buy and use it, because I love the way it makes my hair shine. My hair is very fine, and chemically treated.
