I don't do reviews but I felt like this required one ... So I purchased this travel mug based on all the fantastic reviews on this website, and that on third party comparison review as well! Great, an eco friendly mug that does exactly what it says on the tin.The cup itself looks great, feels great and is perfect!I made myself a lovely hot coffee as I was leaving to go to work, needless to say I always check that my coffee cup isn't leaking with a gentle tip left and right just to make sure as i don't want it going everywhere when I am drinking it. As I did this, the flip part of the lid, that closes the cup up popped open by itself and covered me in boiling hot coffee. When I got home from work I had a closer inspection.It appears, the flip part of the lid has a rubber part on it. There is no catch that holds this coffee cup closed. Its just done by essentially blocking the drinking hole with a bit of rubber on the flip part of the lid. Nothing holds this closed, nothing holds this in place. If you close it shut and watch closely the lid actually opens by itself as the rubber part is too big for the hole.Its a real shame, if a proper clip was made that held this lid closed, then this would be one awesome travel mug. But the fact it doesn't and just relies on the pressure of a small tiny bit of rubber going over the drinking hole, I personally, having been covered in coffee prior to going to work - i certainly would not recommend this mug until this is resolved.I've returned mine for a full refund having had it less than 24 hours.

This cup is exactly as described so I haven’t taken photos as I usually do. It isn’t tall enough for a ‘large’ coffee, so you do need to be aware of this, but I have a medium cappuccino every day from Greggs and it’s just perfect for that. I also get 20p off, so it won’t be long before I recoup my money and then start saving. In fact, excluding Xmas day and one or two others, if you, like me, have a daily coffee, at 20p saving a day, that equates to just over £70 every year !!! Other coffee houses discount more than 20p, so get your calculator out. Of course this isn’t the reason I bought this, its to help cut down our pollution and carbon footprint. I feel great now, particularly when all the family has a drink and we have no cups and plastic lids to put in the bin. I spent about an hour looking for a reusable cup that was highly biodegradable, but also double-walled and with a lid that was made of the same material (quite an ask!) and I ended up with this one, ticking all the boxes - the producers of this very eco friendly model call it the ‘good cup’ and it is just that. It’s as eco-friendly and biodegradable as you will find, but also very practical and very durable. I love the little carry handle, that also closes down when travelling and seals off the drink opening and the double walling keeps my drink hot. I bought one for myself and to trial it, then another three for my husband and two children, and my sister is now ordering one. It arrives in a recyclable brown box, protected by a small protective cellophane bag, and on contacting the producers, they say they will look at brown paper based protection in future. I am a bit of a perfectionist and have no hesitation in recommending this 100%. Ps. If you want a larger cup for your ‘large’ coffee, then contact the producers and ask if they are looking at producing one in the near future. They will reply immediately and are most helpful. A definite 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve been waiting for ages to buy the ‘right’ reusable cup and chanced it on this product..... I’m so glad I did! It’s a great design, light to carry ( I’m a new mum so I seem to have a lot of stuff I cart around with me for the baby ) completely leak proof and easy to use. I love it! Would highly recommend it and knowing that it’s eco friendly in its entirety is the most important to me.

I love this cup. It holds a lot more than I thought it would and is great for me in the mornings getting ready for work and then running out the door. I can just grab and go. Does it stay hot for a long time...no longer than a normal hot drink but I like to drink my coffee while it is hot.I like the fact I’m doing a little more to help the environment and plan on buying more for Xmas presents for family members.

I truly love this cup. It’s very pretty, doesn’t leak and keeps the contents warm for a long time. My only point of critique is that the ink they used to print the logos on comes off as soon as the rice husk material gets hot (e.g. when a hot beverage is in it). It’s such a shame because I liked the art work a lot. Since the company is so young I totally understand that things can go wrong. In terms of reducing my ecological footprint, this cup is a 5/5 (even without logos on it).

I use this cup for my trips to the coffee shop and no longer feel guilty about using their own disposable ones. It looks good, the grip and feel and size are all perfect, and drinking from it feels perfect. The screw on lid and handle to plug the drinking hole will stop it from leaking, but keep it upright. Would very much recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this cup! Totally leakproof, easy to clean, keeps drinks warm for ages and gets you discount in many big coffee retailers! Can’t recommend enough! I’ve been searching for a reusable cup for ages and this is perfect! Also love to support an independent brand - BUY THIS CUP

By far the best coffee cup I’ve had and would definitely recommend
