Replacing my 10-year-old set. Good, but they’ve changed
I’m a long-time user of Kitchen Grips. My last set lasted me a solid 10 years before finally needing a replacement, so I didn’t hesitate to buy this 2-pack again. If you ever used these before, you’ll notice these have changed a bit. The new material feels much thicker and slightly less premium than the original version. My old ones were very thin and flexible, which I loved because you could really "feel" the handle. These new ones are a bit stiffer and take a little more effort to squeeze, likely because of the added thickness. The Pros: Still excellent heat protection. Non-slip grip is as reliable as ever. The Cons: Not as nimble or flexible as the older versions. Feel a bit "bulkier" in the hand. Overall, they are still better than most bulky oven mitts for quick stovetop work, but I do miss the flexibility of the previous generation. Still a solid 4-star purchase for the price.

Best pot holder, ever
I love these pot holders. I've only had to replace one in several years. They are water-proof, so solves the problem of a wet pot-holder transmitting heat. The are flexible and it's easy to grasp hot pans. The are heat-proof, but not fire proof. If they contact a heat element (oven coil, etc.) directly, the cloth side will singe and the neoprene side may melt. The same company makes a double thickness version, which I did not like because they were less pliable. Same problem with the oven mitt.

Great pot holders
The are by far the best pot holders that I have ever had. They protect at a very high temperature as well as being very flexible. Water doesn't penetrate them. If they get food on them, they can easily be washed and dried quickly.

Nice but still transfers heat to hands.
These potholders look great, and the waterproof silicone rubber also acts as a non-slip surface. For things like handles on pots and lower temperature things, these work great. However, taking out a 400F pizza stone caused unbearable heat to be transferred to the hands. These are too thin to work for more than a couple seconds before the heat gets through, causing potential burns, or dropping the item on the floor. I ended up taking two pot grabbers, and gluing them together with Silicone RTV caulking.....the same caulking for bathrooms and tubs. The caulk can withstand heat to 450F, and is quite flexible. I would recommend to Duncan Industries to thicken the hotpad, or produce a ridged style that has minimal surface contact to the pot, casserole dish, or pizza stone. but the concept is a good one, so improvements are always a continuing process.

The Kitchen Grips are the best potholders and oven mitts I've ever used!
The Kitchen Grips potholders and oven mitts are very sturdy and extremely heat-resistant. I feel comfortable using these potholders and oven mitts for lifting all hot dishes and pots & pans. I had a pair of the Kitchen Grips potholders for well over 8 years and when they were pretty worn out, I bought 2 new pairs. Great for holding hot pots and pans and casserole dishes and also using as a trivet. The mitts are perfect for the outdoor BBQ!

These work great!
These pot holders were just what I was looking for. I already have a pair of Kitchen Grip gloves which I absolutely love, so I thought I would take a chance on these and I am SO glad I did. They are very flexible, but thick enough to protect your hands. They are also easy to clean. I will never go back to a cloth pot holder after these! I am going to give some as gifts that I am certain will be appreciated!

Comprate in sostituzione di un'altra coppia di presine che mia madre aveva bruciato e devo dire che sono veramente ottime e molto pratiche.

My old kitchen grips had a loop for your finger and non slip material on both sides. These have neither of those. The non silicone side is very slippery and almost impossible to hang on to. Would not recommend.
