Great book with AA topics for meeting when there is a stand still where topics are needed. The book was suggested by a social worker who has 40 years experience in addiction medicine.

101 Meeting Starters is a great resource for meetings. I bought this little gem about a year ago, and keep it at our meeting for me and others who get "thinker's block". It's not meant to replace the Big Book and other "approved" materials, but is really a super adjunct to those resources. Mel B. did a great job with this one, and I wish he'd put out another!

Such a valuable Book
As a person in long term recovery, this book is so helpful in providing topics at twelve step meetings such as NA or AA or any other twelve step meetings. Kudos to the author for such needed insight and forethought. This book is definitely a winner!!!

Pretty good
Pretty good topics but doesn’t use quotes from the Big Book or 12 & 12. I like to use a reference to the literature when picking a topic . However if your familiar with the A.A. literature, this can be helpful for chairing meetings when your stumped for ideas.

A big help!
This has been a lifesaver when I've chaired meetings and couldn't come up with a topic. Each time I've used the text it has generated excellent, solution-focused conversation.

We keep a copy of this book in the meeting room. Great for when the leader does not show up or if you are just having trouble coming up with an interesting topic. It has saved us from many a boring meeting.
