Maybe the title sounds silly, but it's true. I have had a couple of bags that I've trudged to and fro from my local gym and pool, but for a lot of bag companies it seems they just take one of their normal, off-the-shelf models and slap the term 'swimming' onto the outside of it and call it a day. I'm not saying you HAVE to have a swimming bag to swim, but there are a certain set of features that this bag provides that a general gym bag won't have in mind. Swimming is a unique activity, and it requires a few modifications to prevent the most common problem - the STANK. The STANK is immediately identifiable. Mildewy, damp, chlorine-ish, farty, just bad. It's what happens when you cram a bunch of not fully dried stuff into a confined space without proper ventilation. This bag has many features to prevent the STANK, and therefor I love it. First off, you're probably going to have some kind of flip flops or wet shoes. This is the numero uno culprit of the stank. Wet foot smell permeates the very essence of anything that it comes into contact with, so keeping it separate and the most accessible to dry outside air is tantamount. This bag has a big, completely mesh pocket at the front with a waterproof cloth behind it to prevent the stank from migrating anywhere else. Second, the suit. Even if you are fancy and have a suit dryer at your gym or pool, they don't get everything. As the Offspring are well versed in this idea: you gotta keep them separated. There is a dedicated wet pouch just for suits, and so your clothes or anything else that needs to stay dry actually stays dry - and safe from the stank. All of the other features of the bag are luxury improvements. A small pocket just for goggles and maybe a cap. Two big side pockets that can hold water bottles or a bottle of shampoo. A cavernous main pocket that can hold even a full size kick board - or fins - or whatever other random snorkely training junk you have to carry. The fact that it lays flat when empty, but expands to astonishing proportion if need be. It's a great bag. People may not realize it, but the kind of gym bag or swim bag you have speaks for you before you can ever even open your mouth. A stinky, farty, stagnant air gym bag or drawstring bag will get the job done, but my God at what cost? Having this bag won't make you Phelps, or win you an Oscar, or get you the girl of your dreams - but I can guarantee you having a BAD bag won't help even more with those things either.

I exercise at the gym swimming laps 3-4 times Co per week. I love the waterproof features on the bag. Waterproof bottom. Wet pack that is an outside pocket on the front panel section. The outer layer is a mesh breathable layer to the outside of the bag. The should straps are very strong and durable. There is a handle in the middle of the shoulder straps that can also be used a carrying handle that is not thin and wimpy. It is easy to grasp the handle with you while hand. The inside of the bag has a pocket along inner part that rests up against your back theoretically for a laptop or electronics. I use it for carrying my swim training gear. There is a small pocket at the top of that section for small items. I put my gym padlock, hair ties, swim ear plugs in this little pocket. In the main part of the bag I put my toiletries in a clear plastic waterproof toiletry bag. I still have room for a towel and my swimsuit and if I really need a spare change of clothes. The outside of the bag is a really cool black and white zebra strip optical illusion design which is a totally unique look. There a couple small D-ring type hooks to hang small items such as keys or other items. There are two tall narrow pockets on either side of bag. They are each large enough to hold a 32 oz. Water bottle. Then there are small shorter mesh pockets on the outside of both of these pockets for other small items. The opening to main part of the bag is a large wide opening so it easy to access the contents inside the bag.

Looks great! I love the color. Easy to carry, light & durable. The straps have padding, so it is comfortable. The main compartment is plenty big for shoes, towel, & buoy, with a separate compartment inside for a kick board. The outside pockets are great for extra swim caps, goggles, swim suits, & snacks.

Best backpack for most needs. Sturdy construction and strong zippers. Nothing cheaply done. Holds everything I need to go to the workout pool, and even holds everything I need for airline travel to faraway meets. I have two: one for swimming & swim travel loads, and one for art-painting class. Works well for both.

Great sturdy and large bad for swimmers. I can fit my small bag with fins, paddles, snorkel, board, and buoy inside the bag and still have plenty of room for clothes and other items.

Pros: - very roomy - lots of pockets - interior compartments - solid stitching - heavy duty zippers - designed to stand up on its own - lots of color options - useful mesh sections Cons: - not sure how 'waterproof' it is - not too cheap

Tiene mucho espacio, cumple muy bien su función, tengo 1 año con ella y aún sin ningún desperfecto. Vale la pena cada peso que pagas por ella. Calidad desde los cierres, hasta las asas para colgar. Muy bien todo 🎒 Y sobre todo, por lo que escoji está... lo hermosa y colorida que es. 🌈

Ich habe mir den Arena Team Backpack 45 gekauft, um damit mit dem Fahrrad ins Schwimmbad zu fahren – und bin rundum zufrieden! Der Stauraum ist absolut ausreichend: Handtücher, Badesachen und Getränke für zwei Personen passen locker hinein. Besonders praktisch finde ich das separate Außenfach mit Netz, in das man wunderbar die nasse Badekleidung packen kann. Durch die Belüftung kann diese sogar etwas antrocknen, bevor man wieder zu Hause ist – sehr durchdacht! Was mir ebenfalls gut gefällt: Der Rucksack steht stabil, auch wenn er nicht komplett voll ist – dank der verstärkten Bodenplatte. Die gepolsterten Schultergurte und der Rückenbereich sorgen für angenehmen Tragekomfort, auch auf dem Fahrrad. Es gibt ein gepolstertes Laptopfach, falls man den Rucksack mal für die Uni, Arbeit oder Reisen verwenden möchte. Die robuste Verarbeitung und das wasserabweisende Material wirken langlebig – genau richtig für den Einsatz am Pool, Strand oder bei Regenwetter. Die Seitentaschen bieten genug Platz für Trinkflaschen oder kleine Utensilien, die man schnell zur Hand haben möchte. Insgesamt ist der Arena Team Backpack 45 ein vielseitiger, sportlicher Rucksack, der nicht nur fürs Schwimmbad, sondern auch für Fitnessstudio, Kurztrips oder den Alltag eine super Wahl ist. Fazit: Wer viel unterwegs ist und einen robusten, funktionalen und geräumigen Rucksack sucht, wird mit diesem Modell sehr glücklich. Absolute Empfehlung!
