Greetings from Witness Protection!

This book is so awesome. Every person I've told to read it has loved it. It will be the final book in our 4th-6th grade Book Club.

I was looking for a book to read during vacation. My 11 year old daughter recommended this book. I thought why not, it's a vacation, don't want anything super intense or difficult to read.Excellent recommendation! Enjoyed the book! Easy to read, enjoyable story and plot and not too kiddish to bored me. We both wish there were or will be a book 2!

It's one of the best books I've read this summer. The father coming home was predictable but I love it anyway. There should be a sequel that's called "wish you were here in protective custody"

I did really like this book. I thought the plot was good and I loved Niki a lot.I just think that at some parts, the book was a little boring. Don't get me wrong, I love this book!

I never read fiction- and definitely not young-adult fiction- but I walked by this one in the library and couldn’t resist- and it was so good that I read it in a single day (I have two young kids. Understand that this is not something that normally happens) and I immediately bought a copy to keep! The main character is so nuanced- she’s flawed but likeable. The story is so original and totally gripping. There was no obvious direction, and there was suspense until the end! I was totally immersed in this world. I highly recommend this book.

Impressive writing. Drawn in on the first page. I am a 72 year-old grandmother who got an English degree after turning 55. I promised my grandchildren that I would only get them the best books to read - books that they don't want to put down. I believe reading should be fun - never a chore. I try to read a few chapters of every book I purchase - to make sure it's really a good book. This one kept me reading. If you like reading a book chock full of metaphors, similes, excellent descriptions, verbing, words arranged so well that you are there in the midst of the action - then this book is for you and your family. I purchased it for my 13 year-old granddaughter, but I expect her 9 year-old sister and 12-year old brother will like it as well.Linda M Jake Burt is a is talented writer who obviously knows middle schoolers. I look forward to seeing more of his writing!

After reading GREETINGS FROM WITNESS PROTECTION, my ten-year-old daughter told me this is her all-time favorite book. She is into graphic novels mostly, but every now and then a novel will capture her, such her in, and not let her go until the end. This one did the trick. She finished the book in two days. Staying up WAY too late reading at night!! After handing me the book, she said I must read it next. And I did. My daughter was right. It is an amazing book. Such a unique story that captures the imagination. A great book for those who love action/adventure and need a book to keep you wanting more. A perfect addition to any classroom and school library.

This is an excellent read. It is classed as a book for youth. I read it to see if it was appropriate for a twelve year-old granddaughter . Perhaps a little advanced for twelve in some respected. I'm sure she'll have some questions for her parents or a Google search, but she'll surely identify with the middle school environment which she is currently experiencing. The story-teller heroine is thirteen so is easily identified with by any middle school girl. That said, I'm over seventy and thoroughly enjoyed it, finishing it in three evenings. Each chapter leaves you needing to go on to the next. It is well written, and the author knows kids for sure.

Very easy read and well written to keep the attention of the younger reader. I read and enjoyed this story myself.

love the turn of events and also how Nicki's cleverness always saves the day. fun to read, very intriguing. do not hesitate to buy it. you will not regret it.
