I purchased two of these to install in my new Harbor Freight greenhouse. We live in the mountains in California and have been experiencing wide temperature swings. One day it is 32 degrees out and the greenhouse is comfortable inside. The next day it is 75 degrees outside and super sunny with the greenhouse reaching 120 degrees! I needed an autonomous setup handle the greenhouse venting and these openers are perfect! I included a thermostat and fan on the back wall to ensure there is enough airflow. I just had to drill a couple holes in the existing window frames and used the included screws and mounting plates.

I’ve had several of these automatic window openers for my greenhouse, and thought it would take 20 mins or less to install. The instructions were confusing, incomplete, and possibly wrong. At any rate, mine seems to be stuck in the halfway position. Will have to start over with a different brand.

Pro:Most of this product is made very well and the instructions are fairly decent.Cons:Pins will not stay in place, universal fitting won't fit correctly on my Palram greenhouse. fittings ended up bending the installation lip and would not fully tighten so that the arm connections were always wobbly and loose on the window and wall of the green house.When window is closed the unit is hitting the window pane. ZERO video instructions online. Just not a product for me.So, that is $38.99 I will never see again.

Used this attachment to open greenhouse top vents. Works great, easy to install, and was built out of good material. Great value for the price

All the images show that it should work for my application but it doesn't. Waste of money.
