These filters are well constructed yet inexpensive enough to allow for regular filter replacement. I usually rinse mine under cold running water after each use and allow to dry. I can easily get 20 or more uses out of each filter before needing to replace with a new one which makes them very economical to use. As a bonus you also get 3 new side brushes, however, I'm still using the original one which came with my Neato Botvac as it shows no signs of wearing out even after 8 months of daily use.

The original filters that come with the Neato have a Prefilter screen covering the disposable filter on the side facing the dustbin. This screen prevents bigger dirt from the cleaning session from getting into the folds of the filter and clogging it. The screen makes it easy to wipe this bigger debris off when emptying the dust. These filters do not have a prefilter. As a result, the first time you use the filter if you have any level of dust or pet area in your home, the folds of the filter instantly fill with whatever the vacuum sucks up. By the end of the cleaning session, the filter is clogged and not functioning at a very high level. The brushes that come with this are just fine.

I purchased this filter because it was much less than the Neato manufacturer filters. The problem is that these do not have the fine mesh over the filter area, so dust, pet hair, etc gets stuck in the filter and clogs it very quickly. The Neato manufacturer filters have the mesh covering the filter so that you can quickly wipe away the debris and it doesn’t clog the filter. Dear manufacturer, please put the mesh on the filters like Neato, and it would make these filters MUCH better.

I wanted to love these, but they're just not the same. The fit is snug, which makes it a pain to empty the bin. I was willing to live with that because the savings was substantial. However, I quickly noticed the filters became much dirtier, faster (and I comb them out after each use). Within a week I noticed it lost some suction and wasn't picking up as much. Before these filters, the dirt bin would be full after one cleaning (we have 2 dogs and a cat). With these filters, it's barely a quarter full. A week after using these filters, I had to start taking my allergy medicine again... something I was able to stop doing shortly after I started using the Neato vac (with its original filters).I'll hang on to these for emergencies, if I run out of the brand filters- since they're not available locally and I have to order them. However, I won't be reordering these. For me, they're just not worth it.

NEATO is not perfect but it really does a superior clean compared to other robot vacs I have tried. I use it daily (at night) and with two large dogs it keeps the downstairs area clean. It gets under furniture normally difficult to access with a canister or upright.

The filters are a great value compared to the manufacturer's filters. However, they don't include a nylon mesh screen on the filter section like the original which makes it a little more difficult to clean. With the original and nylon mesh screen you can just pull most of the lint off like a dryer lint filter. On the bright side, it does include a small brush to help you clean the filters. If they had included the mesh screen I would have given them 5 stars.

Was hoping these filters worked just as well as the name brand but they definitely do NOT. The Neato filters are easy to clean by simply tapping against the trash can when emptying the bin but these filters trap the hair and debris and I have to remove it in huge chunks each time. Next time I will pay extra for the neato filters.

i don't like writing bad reviews, because these guys are usually small start-ups and negative reviews is the last thing they need. But, having said this, I have the Neato Bavac D5 and I purchased this set primarily for the side brush, as a replacement for the original side brush that came with my Neato. Unfortunately, the 3 side brushes that came with this package do not fit my Neato. They do not spin, as they are too loose. I am therefore returning.i-clean, sorry for the negative review. But, please reach out to your manufacturer and give them heads on this issue. If you can fix this issue and perhaps same a replacement sample, I will update my review and then give you a much better rating.
