Street Sketchbook: Journeys

I still havn't finished reading this because there's so much to go through and so much substance. I'm not talking abou the actual writing of the book, which doesn't truthfully add much, but the photography and layout of the artist's work is amazing and I can't get through 10 pages without wanting to get up and draw. This is even though I'm not usually a follower of street art. The different perspectives are amazing. Definatley worth the buy so you have the freedom to really take your time and read through it

This is a great book to give someone who appreciates art of any kind. It tells a brief story with each "chapter" and it covers lesser known graffiti artists around the world with great insight. Highly recommended.

This book is heavy, so I wouldn't lug it around in my backpack but, it is rich in beautiful color photos and I have not seen the material on other publications. I bought it used and truly got my money's worth. The artists are from different parts of the world and very talented. It looks like the catalogs of very expensive art schools.

I did love the book, there's so much information about street art with such many artists. Tristan Manco know's a lot about street art.

this is a must have for artists, art students and teachers. it is filled with inspirational sketches and artworks. the use of colour, text and imagery is varied and shows the fluid style that can be achieved with pen and spray. an excellent book!!!

The title of this book is not very accurate. Unlike the first book of this series ("Street Sketch Book") this volume focuses more on each artists outdoor work (walls, etc.) which was a big disappointment to me. While there are some pages from each artists sketch book, the sketch book aspect of this book is very, very minimal and I would recommend seeing and flipping through this book in a bookstore before deciding on whether you want to purchase it (on Amazon of course!). This book was a big letdown to me since I purchased it believing the main purpose of it was to showcase sketch books. Wrong.

The art in this book is without exception fascinating. I ran into this in a tiny store in New York City. They had several books about graffiti/street art, and I browsed through a couple of them. None of the other ones had art like this. The text is eh, so-so. But the images are stunning. I plan to buy several more copies to give as gifts.

Very high quality, hardback (With snazzy rounded corners) and much bigger than I expected (in all dimensions). From what I read it seemed very comprehensive, although this was a gift and so I didn't look too deeply. I have, however, heard it is by far the best book on the subject that the the recipient has ever read- Success.

Great book with lot of big street artists and more that i dont know about them. Great format, great work if you like the street art and sketch books. Highly recomended.

This is great for inspiration, seeing art in different forms can only help to appreciate how much talent is out there.
