James Valley Full Rut (Doe in Heat Gland Lure)

Great stuff but expensive. I guess you get what you pay for sometimes. Would have given 5 stars if it were cheaper.

This is the only rut gel, spray, deodorant stick, wick, aerosol can, bomb, incense stick, or whatever kind of rut attractant I have actually seen work. I have been using all of this junk for years and I'm sucker for anything packaged like it will work. The James Valley Full Rut is the only one I have ever....ever....seen work. It only happened once, but I watched an 8pt hit my trail where I had walked across a field after rubbing it on my boots. He caught a whiff and walked away all the way down my path to where I put it on my boots, stopped, turned around and then followed the trail all the way back to my stand where I watched my father take him. Never seen another rut product work in over 12 years.... just saying, that is my personal experience.

The company service is horrible product is worse

I have been using James Valley scents for a couple years now and have been very pleased with the results. Two years ago I shot a nice 6 1/2 year old 10 point buck using it and this year I shot a nice 8 point. Now, did the James Valley scents have anything to do with it? Not sure and never will know, but I can say it didn't hurt. I dip a small stick into the scent container then place the stick across another branch approx. 6' high. The deer (even does) do not seem to be spooked by the scent.

Used product but couldn't tell if it helped or hurt my hunt trip. Used as directed and never seen a deer. But that's hunting.

very concentrated product.JAR DOESN'T LEAK!!!I put it on biodegradable Q Tips bent in half.Then hang the Q Tip on a branch.Got a nice Buck in, but i was out of position for a shot!Will use it again in the second phase of the Rut

Put a glob or two around the area I wantedTo have a buck on Monday , hunted ThursdayChased out a nice 8 point and he would not leave !! Worked great !!
