Amazon Essentials Women's Studio Relaxed-Fit Long-Sleeve Cross-Front Hoodie

After wearing for one day, the shirt balled up very badly.

I really like everything about this shirt. But I have to return it - and it is me - not the shirt's fault. I'm too chubby for it. I'm a size 14 (carrying weight in the middle) & this shirt shows every lump & bump (in size XL). I'm not sure going up a size will work - I need a little more swing in a top otherwise it clings to my big rear & fluffy midsection. If you don't have my body shape - this is a cute, lightweight top that doesn't look sloppy. I loved the nightshade (blue/ purple). This is similar to thin sleek rayon material - which would have been great in the hot south. Maybe if I lose the weight I've gained I will order it again.

Love this top for daily activities or workout. I liked the thumb holes. I did not realize it came with an attached hood but to me, this was a plus. Most likely would purchase another.The material is light weight and comfy.It does NOT offer any warmth for colder conditions, if anyone is curious.

*I have this shirt in both black and white, and this review applies to both of them.***This review is more relevant to those of us who want something other than pajamas to wear in our living rooms and on our porches during these "stay-at-home" orders in the current pandemic.**Unless you're very slim/slender, I'd pass on this shirt. (Or unless you're just going to wear it around the house as I have and don't care. Personally, I still don't like looking dumpy even when I'm at home.)I ordered it in a size large because I'd consider myself curvy and this shirt is super unflattering on me. The bottom is weirdly wide creating a very boxy fit, and because the arms feel a tiny bit short, getting a medium would have likely resulted in the arms being all the way too short/a very uncomfortable fit with the thumb holes.Also, it keeps sliding back leaving the collar feeling like a choker. Not sure if it's the weight of the hood, which is very light btw, but I find myself having to pull the whole thing down (away from my neck) all throughout the day. Annoying.That said, these are light weight and somewhat comfy, the hood can accommodate a high bun/ponytail, and the thumb holes are nice for those of us who love thumb holes in the sleeve.I would not, however, buy these again because of the fit and the price. If they were cheaper, say <$10, I'd be more tempted to buy a couple of other colors and deal with the boxiness and sliding just to have a few of these for wearing inside only.

I'm a mom of 4, I live in workout capris but live in FL and need lightweight layers! This is my 2nd color of this top, I absolutelyove it. Super flattering, slightly longer in the back but not too long like many tops. I will eventually have one in every color!!

I am 5'3, 157lbs, carry most of my weight in my tummy/hips and purchased a Large in the light grey. It hits at mid hip, fits well through the bust (not too tight) and the arm length is just about right. I really like the lighter weight fabric and it has washed well through 2 standard washings (no delicate settings, etc) and did not shrink very much when machine dried. I really love the Amazon Essentials line, have not had a bad purchase yet! Highly recommend!

This is a flattering lightweight top that I was pleasantly surprised with for the price. It’s been washed twice and seems to be holding up well. At 5’7” and 148# a medium fit as expected. I ordered this in black. 4 stars as I tried another color. The light blue is actually more of a mint green color and found the medium way too large, so beware of inconsistent sizing.

This was my first Amazon "basics" purchase and I'm not disappointed. I wanted a light weight but long sleeve hoody for casual wear. Sleeves are important because I'm an outdoors person yet I need to keep the sun off--I burn like a burger! I ordered my usual size (XL) but could have gone with an L because the lower portion of the top is looser than I usually wear. That being said, I'm assuming it may shrink a bit so probably the XL was a good choice. The fabric is very lightweight, so you can definitely wear this in hot weather. The length on me is mid-booty which is perfect on my 5'10" frame. The cross over front is subtle but adds enough detail to keep it from being boring. I have long arms and these sleeves hit past my wrists so that's one more plus. I got the light blue which is really more of a very pale aqua--a very nice color and one that I prefer to plain ol' blue. Overall, 5 stars for this basic, good fitting top that looks cute and doesn't cost a fortune.

Excellent product and price

I've been really impressed with the amazon essentials brand, until this shirt. Material is very thin and after 4 hours of wearing it, is already starting to pill.

I love the colour and style. Moreover, this top is beyond comfortable. It's not thick, so good for autumn.

Llego rapidisimo, la tela es super suavecita. Las mangas son largas y tiene buenos acabados. El color tal cual la imagen, sin duda una excelente opcion!!! La recomiendo!

I like how thin this top is. I got it to layer over a short sleeved shirt and under a mid layer. I wanted a loose fit. I am 5’4” and 118 pounds and it fit perfectly. It also feels nice and soft. The navy is nice, bright pink is on its way.
