Great at controlling one’s beard -especially the gray and white whiskers!!!
Have worn various beard lengths over the years. Most persons will find as we age, besides turning gray or white, the whiskers get a different texture and a mind of their own. They mostly want to stick out perpendicular to the skin surface or another strange angle vs. laying in the desired direction. Moisture also becomes less prevalent as we age and needs added and distributed. Brushing of the beard is necessary to redistribute oils and provides a little control. But it only goes so far. This product excels others at taming wild whiskers for me. It has longevity and lasts awhile on face and I find the tin goes a long way. This has no added fragrance which I prefer. The finish is not shiny and looks natural. As such, I’ve ordered this many times over the years. As per pic, it’s keeping a med length beard in good order. Also seen, I am in the earliest stages of handlebar form. This beard wax can also provide a little control assistance at this stage when sparingly applied, but cannot substitute a specific mustache product when the hairs get longer. Overall, a highly recommended product for beard control.

Excellent Product
Works great. Keeps the beard from getting messy but doesn't look unnatural. Smells good too.

Seems to work well, just not well enough for me.
I'm new to the longer facial hair growers' club, having recently explored growing out my goatee after taking a week-long camping trip 2 months ago. No recommendations going in, so I went shopping blind & bought this product. Wasn't sure at first how much product to use, so I had to experiment. My beard grows a little unruly, with some follicles pointing in various directions, whose hairs are... crooked? Left unchecked, it kind of looks like a mashed brush vacuum attachment. Maybe that's most guys, I don't know. I just kind of wanted a growing-straight-down, orderly-looking beard. Pros: I like the scent. I like that it uses all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients, and that they've been at it for quite some time. Can't beat time-tested. Cute logo. (I've never heard of them until shopping around.) Cons: It's wax, and wax can be messy. Sticks to fingers and combs & brushes; requires repeated washing & rinsing to get the stickiness out. (Don't use dry paper towels, you'll just have lint + wax instead of just wax.) Bought a sandalwood beard comb (not cheap BTW) and have to wrap it in a hanky to keep with me. Residue can be felt on bare facial skin next to mustache & beard. Not much in the way of instructions included, but I guess that's what YouTube instructional videos are for. Turns out I have to use quite a lot of product and apply multiple times with a beard brush (also not cheap). And still, it seems no matter how much I use, there are still a few hairs that WON'T LIE DOWN, especially at the sides of my mouth. Alas. Maybe I just need to trim it. But at least now I have kind of a routine going. Little anecdote. I go to Renaissance Faires a lot, and this is the first year I've gone with facial hair this long. Went as a pirate to one this summer. Styled my mustache with an upward curve and my beard to a point. Received a compliment when I had my picture taken with a gorgeous she-elf. tl;dr- If you have a relatively "tameable" beard, this should work. If they made/make a stronger version of this I'd be very interested.

Great, natural hold
This is great for longer beards to keep a hold through the day. This is nothing like mustache wax or hair gel, it really is meant for beards. This wax does a much better job at keeping my beard looking nice through the day while balm alone might not have enough hold to last into the afternoon/evening. Do not expect this to have the same hold as mustache wax, which is a good thing here because it keeps the beard looking/moving more naturally and not totally rigid like heavy mustache wax might do. Only downside is that it smells more like actual wax, while not necessarily bad it's definitely not as good as the balm. Also, if the makers happen read this, PLEASE make the tin twist off like the balm, it's really not fun to open.

BEST IN THE BUSINESS
I've tried several brands, and this is my favorite. Consistent quality; does what it's supposed to do. (And wife finds the scent pleasant without being overbearing.)

Does exactly what it says on the tin! Not too greasy and keeps a firm hold all day long. A bit pricier than other brands, but you get what you pay for. I've used cheaper brands, and compared to this, they feel (and in some cases smell) like lard. Just take a small amount, rub between your hands and apply - then comb in. It also leaves a lovely finish!
