Great Insights
This book presents Ken Einiger's philosophy and strategy for blackjack tournaments. The author is well-versed in the field as he has vast tournament experience and is a former World Series of Blackjack champion. As Ken points out, in BJ tournaments one is playing against the other players and not against the house/dealer; accordingly, many times one is forced to make a play not normally made in a regular blackjack game (i.e., double down on a blackjack). Ken not only provides his basic principles for playing tournaments but also discusses the play-by-play and strategy he used during several rounds of the World Series of Blackjack. As a BJ tournament player myself, I found the book very instructive and illuminating. This is a good primer for anyone considering playing in tournaments.

For beginning and experienced players alike
In this book Ken Eineger gives beginners a good solid understanding of blackjack tournaments. Experienced players will enjoy the many stories, specific hand analyses and wealth of anecdotes. The book is surprisingly well-written (not always the case when it comes to gambling books). Some parts read like a novel. The technical sections are clearly explained.I enjoyed reading it and will read it again.

Hard to understand
Was a little hard to understand but helpful. I guess if you really want to understand it, you will need to know cards well and maybe read it several times.
