Microsoft Pubisher 2010 (SAM 2010 Compatible Products) 1st Edition

Highly Recommended! They explain things especially well and show pictures in the introductory lesson. I purchased the Microsoft Publisher 2010 Complete for a Desktop Publishing course that I was taking (Lessons 1-7). I was so pleased with the teachings that I purchased the Comprehensive version for my own use because I want to teach myself the rest of the lessons which include chapters 8-11. I am especially interested in how to build a website and the Comprehensive version teaches it along with a whole lot more. I think it is an excellent purchase and wish I would have known about it before I purchased the Complete version. This book includes everything in the Complete version of the book plus the extra and the cost may be the same.I have found the same approach in all Shelly Cashman books.

This book was what I needed for class and it was cheaper than any where else I have gone. It had all of the information that I needed to pass the class. It was one big book instead of a bunch of small books. It may be too big for some people, but I would rather have one that a few everywhere.

If you can't figure out how to "do it" in Publisher 2010, this is the book for you. As someone who was weaned on Office versions well before the "ribbon" interface, I have loathed using the more recent Office products. When my son started learning Publisher his teacher used this as a referene and we found it very helpful. I have now come into the 2010s and adopted the "ribbon" thanks to this great reference.

Once again Amazon delivers on text books for college. I got a used text book in good condition for a fraction of the price of the campus bookstore. This is a good guide as far as tech books go. I think it is well written, information, and easy to follow. It would make a good introduction text for anyone wanting to learn Publisher, it starts off pretty basic.

I like the book; however, I have tried and tried to get the student data disk and had no luck.

I received the textbook in record time, but was disappointed that the CD for students was not included. For the cost of the used textbook, I expected it to be complete.

If you can find this in the Go! Series then I would use that one. I have to use this for school but am getting the Go! Series one because it just is more concise and laid out better in the explanations. And you can't set it up to work as it is not spiral bound.
