This book is amazing. It's helping me understand what more I can do in helping my son start speaking or at least get on the right track of things

This book and corresponding program is absolutely amazing and was an integral part of helping my son with Autism learn how to communicate. He went from not having even one word to speaking in full sentences in less than one year with the help of this program. The book provides useful examples of how to implement each step. I used this book in conjunction with support from an occupational therapist who was using the instructor companion to this book. That was very helpful as well because I was able to direct any questions I had to her while working through the book. Excellent resource to parents looking to equip themselves with the know how to help improve their child's communication.

My son has autism and I took a 5-week course with EIV. This book was the key tool in each chapter. This book will help you bond and learn how to communicate with your child. It took me several days to teach him how to say and ask for various things (up, water, ready-set-go, more, all done, etc.). I was able to get him to make eye contact for longer periods of time and to start to come to me to play, instead of him playing alone. It changed the whole dynamics of our relationship. It's work, but worth every effort and love you put into it. So don't give up on your child. This book will CHANGE your life and your child will thank you. I cannot recommend this book enough.
