Why doesn't Underwood offer a "pouch" version? This way backpackers/hikers can eat them without the added alluminum weight of a can.

Good to let them know! It always has to be a good business decision to pay for making a big change like that! The cans are so light, but maybe bulky and uncomfortable on a hike!
