P.A.N. Yellow Corn Meal – Pre-cooked Gluten Free and Kosher Flour for Arepas (2.2 lb/Pack of 1)

So I bought this PAN cornmeal flour to be able to make my own cornbread, tortillas, and muffins. I really do not like to buy cornmeal baked goods from the grocery store. Why? Because of the GIGANTIC list of OTHER ingredients that is ALWAYS a part of corn baked goods. Some of the chemicals in the list of store-bought cornmeal products I cannot even pronounce. Many of the chemicals I do not approve of, after looking them up on the web. So, I really appreciate this cornmeal flour because it is pure cornmeal flour. The label does say there may be soy in the cornmeal. Otherwise, it is just pure cornmeal. The label also offers a nice little recipe to make cornmeal dough and how to cook it. Pretty nice. FLAVOR: the flavor of this cornmeal flour is like nothing else I can describe. It is beyond any freshness and safer that you can imagine out of corn flour. It is light, fresh, and oh so delicate. There is no aftertaste. The flour cooks up absolutely velvety soft and smooth. No grit. I mainly am using it to make breakfast tortillas. We believe in a hearty breakfast at my house. We put meats, cheeses, and eggs on a freshly made cornmeal tortillas....heaven! This PAN cornmeal flour adds to the our breakfast meals so nicely. It is the freshest most delicious cornmeal flour I have ever tasted. The price was amazingly budget minded. Obviously, I highly recommend!

I've never heard of arepas, but found this because I wanted to make corn bread from scratch. It turned out good! I made it in the crockpot and added this yellow corn meal, flour, salt, butter, eggs, milk, and a little baking powder.

This was my first time making cornbread, and I bought this because it was recommended by a YouTube cooking vlogger. I’m glad I did — it turned out really good! The texture and taste were just right. I’ll definitely use this again for future recipes.

The expiration date on the items is September 20, 2024 I bought a pack of 4 last July. That's a short expiration date, I hope they are still good if I freeze them. Other than that the product is fine.

This pre-cooked yellow corn meal was a total win. It came out so creamy and smooth, and the best part it didn’t take long to prepare at all. The flavor is rich and comforting, even before adding anything extra. I paired it with pork, and the combination was absolutely delicious. It’s definitely going to be a staple in my pantry from now on.

I used this for my home made English Muffins and I love that it is a finer grain. The store bought Muffins has a larger gain size and im not a fan of it.

I made corn bread for thanksgiving, using this product & it turned out better & more delicious than I expected. My family gobbled it up!
