Elijah, Op. 70: Oratorio in Two Parts - Vocal score

I bought this score to sing with a local choral society. Judging by the size of it I thought the print size would be large enough to read easily but it certainly is not. The musical notes are quite legible, but the text, to my eyes, is miniscule. It is printed in two languages: identifying the English words, printed in italics, beneath the German, proved quite a task. Moreover, the underlay is very different if you are reading the German text. I was reduced to using correction fluid on some of it. Many choruses are printed in this edition with the soprano line in German, the alto line in English, the tenor line in German and the bass line in English, making it impossible to perform!

やはり安価なスコアの印刷の粗さが目立ちましたね。この値段ですから致し方ないとしましょう。ペーター版は流石に見事でした！私はシャーマー版を使う事にしていますが、こちらもかなり粗さが目立ちます。
