Roland CUBE Street EX

Why is this so much overpriced? Back in 2017, I really wanted to purchase this, the price that time was approx 46k. I could not purchase it due to financial issue. now when i check in 2021, it is priced at 56k for a product that was released in 2016 or 2015. i am not aware of any upgrade or updated version of this coming from Roland. Saw some reviews of the speaker brand that has been used here which is not up to the mark. anyway, i will think of purchasing this if the price comes down. i even thought of Roland BA series but its not more of instrument amplifier (anyway, the price is not in my range) thanks for reading the review.

Ampli Roland portatif qui fonctionne sur batterie. C'était le prix le moins cher que j'ai trouvé. Plus bas que chez Thomann. Livraison soignée bien que tardive vu que je n'étais pas chez moi lors de la pre,ière livraison et comme il fallait une signature. C'est du Roland, c'est costaud et cela fonctionne sans problème. De plus Roland a arrêté la production donc j'en ai profité pour en prendre un exemplaire.

I needed an amp to be more versatile than to be just a practice amp and possible future busking. This amp fulfills many options for use like being a remote outside boom box when connected to my iPhone, or a two mic karaoke machine, or a compact all in one guitar, mic, harmonica and backing track amp. The 50 watts, powered by 8 -AA batteries or a AC power brick cord adds to the options of being a fixed connected to a plug amp or fill the world with sound unconnected to a plug amp! FX controls are adequate and a nice plus. There is even a pedal accessory port for adding FX. Did I leave anything out? oh yeah, Line out jack to record your magic. All in All , great job on a great balance of many options Roland. Not to heavy to carry, nicely built. Really Really pleased with my purchase.

I'd wanted to pick up a Roland Street Cube Ex for years and finally got around to it. I opted for the original over the Ex II because I wanted a full 50 watts. The chorus and delay effects are surprisingly good. The important thing to remember is that a little goes a long way. I personally find the lead channel better than the distortion channel (for when I want to play rock riffs), and if you set the EQ right this thing will chug. In short, this amp delivers! To get around having to lug a mic stand with me out in public, I picked up a Røde Wireless II microphone system. It takes a little tweaking to get the receiver/transmitter to work without feedback, but once you get there, it's gravy. If playing on the go is your aim, the Street Cube Ex is the way to go.
