Lenox Butterfly Meadow Figural Cup and Saucer Set, Pink

I'm so glad I got the green version. The green saucer and butterfly handle perfectly complement the green leaves cascading down the outside of the cup. I felt the other colour versions clashed with the green leaves. The set is so very pretty, without being so delicate that I can't get a satisfying drink out of it. In fact the cup is more of a breakfast cup, rather than a teacup- the kind you want for your cappucino or cafe au lait, in the morning. The bumble bee and lady bug on the back and front of the cup are adorable. Something that's not apparent in the pictures is the flower petal detail on the saucer, which I love. The only thing which I feel detracts from the beauty of this set, is the annoying yellow line that goes down the space between the butterfly wings where the body is supposed to be. It's an ugly and unneccesary distraction. I have to mention too, Amazon's ridiculously fast delivery- 6 days from my order date. I'm in Asia, so for standard shipping, that's crazy fast, but I'm not complaining. Thank you Amazon, from a very happy customer.

It’s so pretty and practical to give as a gift for a special person . Our Granddaughter loved it for her Butterfly collection, for her 16th birthday. It made her feel like a Princess. It’s well worth the monetary value, too.

Butterfly Meadow is one of Lenox's most popular, and beautiful, designs. There are several different themes and styles within the collection, and this one may be the loveliest. Its hallmark is the butterfly-wings handle on the teacups, as well as the sugar bowl and other items. There are four different colored handles on the teacups. I have given one of these, in the various colors, to a special friend for several years now on different occasions. She loves every one of them and now, as of this green cup, she is delighted to have the complete set.

My granddaughter loves this cup. She really enjoys having tea with her grandma.

I purchased this cup and saucer as a 2010 Christmas gift for a relative. It has held up well, is beautiful, looks dainty, but has a good sturdiness and weight to it. I often drink out of the cup when I visit and while I love it (it's really pretty), I've found the cup handle, which is designed as a butterfly, odd and difficult to hold. There's no loop to put your finger through... sometimes I have to pick the cup up just the right way so as not to drop it, which makes for a cumbersome experience while trying to enjoy tea - lol! I wanted to purchase other cups and saucers in the Lenox Butterfly collection, but will be getting the Lenox Butterfly Meadow Blue Butterfly Cup and Saucer Set instead because it has a proper handle. I hesitated giving this cup 4 stars because it's so beautiful, but the handle is impractical. I would feel uncomfortable serving to guests.

This gorgeous cup and saucer arrived earlier than expected and perfectly boxed! Although I did not request gift packaging, this arrived suitable for gifting just the same. Nothing not to love about this purchase as even the price was better for this item than could be found elsewhere!

Die Tasse mit Untertasse war hervorragend verpackt und kam sehr pünktlich an. Die Untertasse ist leicht strukturiert, die Farbe entspricht der Abbildung (in meinem Fall pink). Die Tasse ist mit zarten hellgrünen Blätterranken verziert, je ein Käferchen in der Nähe des "Henkels" ergänzt das Dekor. Der Henkel in Form eines Schmetterlings passt perfekt dazu. Diese Tasse ist ein Hingucker (und wurde sofort zur "Lieblingskakaotasse" ernannt). Das Halten am Schmetterling ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber durchaus praktikabel. Ich halte Tassen gerne gegen das Licht, um die Durchscheinstärke am Tassenboden anzusehen, bei dieser Tasse scheint wenig Licht hindurch. Der Tassenrand ist nicht sehr dünn (Punktabzug), trotzdem kann man gut trinken. Wer sie sich hinstellen möchte, hat auf jeden Fall einen Blickfang.

Es una taza muy hermosa, vale la pena, yo compré la azul de asa de mariposa, en menos de 500, la ceramica se ve de buena calidad y la taza tiene buen tamaño, es cómoda de sostener, definitivo voy a adquirir las otras piezas del juego. Los dibujos son bonitos con colores tenues como acuarela.

Puse mi mesa, mantel, charola de 3 niveles y serví el té en estas tazas, mis amigas quedaron fascinadas
