Waste of money. Neither emblem worth using.
The back emblem is almost a 1/4” smaller in diameter than the original. It does not fill the recess on the e39 trunk lid.The front emblem is crooked. The backplate is misaligned with the front of the emblem so when installed it is crooked with the front of the car.

The rear emblem IS NOT STRAIGHT
I inserted the rear emblem into the holes and then noticed that the logo isn’t straight!!When I pried it back off to see what I could do about it the posts broke off. I couldn’t pull the broken pieces of the posts back out (for those who haven’t done it before, the posts fit in and stay in their holes via friction, not screws, oddly enough) so I screwed pointy screws in and pulled them out via the screw heads. I then used double sided exterior tape from 3m to attach them. I had to double up on the tape to make it work.Unbelievable that it was misaligned. Looks good otherwise but if I wanted to look like a clown I would have left the old faded roundels on there and painted them with fingernail polish instead.E85 Z4, FWIWThe front one fits on an E85 Z4, just you’ll need to triple stack the tape to make it stick since the Z4 hood comes with screws and this one is for a car with posts. It looks fine size-wise though

Replacement emblem on a 16 year old E46 (325i)
Perfect emblem replacement especially on a 16-year-old car without paying the factory price. This is a clone item and not OEM. Recommend getting “Auto” double-sided adhesive tape to secure it in place otherwise they’ll be a 1/32” to the 1/16” gap on top; not completely flush like factory other than that a new emblem better than a chipping faded emblem.

might need modifying
both emblems were put on crooked, had to use a heatgun and carefully pry the top emblems off, then take off the old sticker/glue and glue the emblem on, this time straight, with super glue... had to do this for bothto align it, put the two pins/posts coming out the back against a table edge or something, then put on the emblem and rotate it, then leave it to set/dry.

Love the way they look
We bought these to replace emblems on our BMW. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing they look.

mine arrived perfect
i've raed several reviews here that stated the logos on the emblems they received were off-center/crooked. i have no doubt this is true for those customers, but for me i got a perfect set.so, i'd say for the price its probably worth throwing the dice, given the OEM ones are $42/ea.mine look fantastic and really helped to refresh the appearance of my old 2000 323i.

Looks good. Had to use double sided tape.
Bought these for an 02 e39. They don't fit the old rubber holders in the holes so I had to use some 3M double sided tape. The badge looks good just doesn't fit like OEM. For the money, this is a pretty good looking badge.

Wrong Size but they look good
One of them was the wrong size, even though I entered my car information and it said it matched. I did 3 stars just because of the sizing issue.
