Nathan Vapor Air 2.0 7L Black L-XXL

I am sharing my husband's thoughts as he bought this for his next 35 mile race, he has been running ultra marathons for 15 years and this the best pack he has found. He likes that it sits higher on his back so it moves less and does not chafe his lower back. The removable water bag is great to keep it clean, lots of pockets for hammer gel etc. Very comfortable, has been using it for his 20 + mile training runs and loves it. My notes, it has been a constant search for a pack he likes and this is the first time he said he is actually happy with one. The search is over

I initially bought the Vapor Airess because it is the “ladies” version and I loved the color. But it was too small, so I returned it for this. I am training for a Marathon through the summer in Florida, so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of water at all times. This is great. One of the best investments I have ever made as a runner. I have run as far as 11 miles wearing this and I didn’t once run out of water. It has plenty of pockets for my phone, phone charger, fuel, light vest, body glide, and keys. Filling the bladder with ice water feels amazing in the Florida heat but when the ice melts, it sweats everywhere on my back. This helps keep me cooler longer so it’s not much of a big deal. There is no bounce either, which I was really impressed with. One thing to note is I had to change the way I swing my arms when I run because I felt like I might start to chafe with my arms rubbing against it. I have not chafed yet though. I feel like I have better form when I run now though. I have recommended this vest to several others who have been interested in a hydration pack and recommend it to anyone who wants to make sure they’re hydrated anywhere they wear it.

This pack has been great for long runs during the pandemic. Without being able to stop for water at fountains anymore long runs would have been impossible but with this Nathan hydration vest I am able to for hours. It’s been great. Comfortable and lots of places to store snacks, keys, food etc.

the fit and quality of the vest is great....I found it fit much better the my camel back hydration vest. I am rating this only 2 stars because similar to other reviewers both the reservoir and drinking tube looked like there was mold in it. It maybe that the plastic that Nathan uses has discoloration, but it did look like mold. I am exchanging it on Amazon and hopefully the new one does not have this mold looking discolorations.UPDATE: I call Nathan's customer service and they couldn't have been more helpful. They explained that the discoloration on the reservoir and tube was do to how it was packed....dye from the vest getting on both. They told me it was not mold. They also offered to send me both a new reservoir and tube at no cost, to ease my discomfort in using the product. The service was great....I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars.

I love this. I am 6'7'' 270lbs, and this is one of the few that can fit me. It can fit anyone, from the smallest to the largest person. It is versatile. I use it for short runs and have used it for 100 milers. I can fit two 20oz soft flasks upfront, a 1.5 or even 2l bladder in the back, and have plenty of room for all sorts of nutrition and gear, can store my treking polls, easy front pouches for large phones, and I hardly notice the weight when running. The only time you'd need something more is if you need to bring extra clothes, as even stashing a jacket in/on it is challenging (though I can) but you won't be able to fit more than maybe a t-shirt or pull over (if you fold it up really tight) inside the backpack portion.

I am a normal sized human. I was excited to see that Nathan Sports had created an “extended sizes” hydration pack. I’ve used Ultimate Direction (Jurek Mountain Pack) and Nathan Sports (kuprika) before and was happy with each as far as overall fit goes. The issue with this pack is overall fit and sizing. I work out a bit and have a 47” chest measurement - this pack when worn according to the directions fits like a child’s backpack and all of the storage, water volume is not compatible with my body frame.Be aware that if you are also human sized over 6’ and have shoulders, this pack could be an issue.I am returning it today! I’ll keep looking but I may stray from Nathan Sport packs for a while.

Like one other reviewer, my tube and bladder came stained with algae/mold or something I’m sure I don’t want to drink. Let me add to my original post about condition. While mine came stained the customer service from the supplier was superb. They addressed the issue and promptly sent a replacement bladder. With regard to the vest itself. I am a distance hiker (20+ miles) and needed something with extra pockets for snacks and fuel. The pack is perfect for this, is very comfortable and lightweight. I’m happy that all worked out.

Great beat, especially for a bigger guy. I am 6'1" and about 215 lbs. Fit great and comfortably. It adjusted well. The shoulder pockets fit gels perfectly. The cheat pockets fit a large cell phone somewhat tightly. The bladder was well positioned amd did not move around excessively while running. The only downfall I have discovered is one of the trekking pole straps broke off after only the second wash in the washing machine. I did use Nathan's brand of detergent for athletic gear.

Pack is great. Fits well and is comfortable on long runs.

It rubs a little on my shoulder blades on long runs but I just stick a bandaid there and it’s all great. Hydration system is awesome.
