Vacu VinFruit Preparation Set, Green (4889060)

I have only used the pineapple corer. I don't know if they all work similar or the fact this is plastic but when I attempted to use it I had a pool of liquid on top without it going through. My hubby had to do this for me. The pieces were very thin and after slicing they were very small and rugged and choppy looking. Luckily it was for myself and not company. Maybe with more practice it would turn out better. On the bright side I had a cut up pineapple in less than 30 seconds

It had everything in the box and every item works perfect. I'm thinking about ordering a second one.

Pineapple corer works well, but citrus peeler was left out of box.

Awesome. Cuts the pineapple in a spiral. If you wanted to use the outside as a cup fro a tropical drink you could. :) So fun. Got these for several gifts and everyone loved them,

I have only used the pineapple corer and slicer, but they work amazingly well. The set is a good addition to kitchen tools in the home.

Ok - maybe I'm easy pleased but this set is great. The pineapple cutter is so clever - so are the strawberry huller and the citrus peeler. Seem hard wearing - I've already used them quite a lot and they're easy to clean. Haven't used the melon cutter yet so can't comment. But the rest is great. My kids only eat nicely cut-up fruit, so this helps no end.

The whole set is really good but the pineapple corer/slicer is absolutely fab. Have never eaten so many pineapples in my life, cause this makes it so easy :-)

Wanted a pineapple cutter, and probably won't use all the other little gadgets, but who knows....perhaps when I next buy a melon or orange I might be tempted. The cutter works fine and takes a lot of the hassle out of preparing a pineapple. Easy to use, with surprisingly little umph needed, but place the pineapple in a bowl as juice leaks out in the process. It is still a messy business, so if you are expecting no mess, don't eat pineapples. The chunk cutter is inspired, just press it down and pineapple chunks emerge. There is very little waste from this method, and only a few eyes need removing after. Is it better or worse than other slicers? No idea. This one works so I'm unlikely to find out. Unless of course there is an electric one....

Brought mainly for the pineapple tool but the other bits are handy. except the melon slicer - can't seem to use it without destroying the melon.
