Almost Perfect
This watch is phenomenal. Big, bold, stylish and beautiful. This beastie is meant to garner attention, and it certainly does that. As many other people here have mentioned, setting this watch is somewhat of an adventure and you're well-advised to go to the video on Citizen's website for tutelage. The good news here is that the watch is so accurate that you'll only have to set it twice a year (if you live in an area that uses Daylight Savings Time). The watch wears fairly large but it doesn't look too big on me and I have small wrists. It goes with absolutely every occasion. The hands blend in with the watch face more than I'd like, making telling the time a more than a quick glance kind of deal. But that is a small price to pay for offering a watch like this. The fact that I got this watch for $150 just makes my experience with this watch all that much sweeter. Can't recommend highly enough.

Looks great - Manual is a challenge
First let me start my saying that I have other Citizen perpetual calendar watches and are very familiar with these products. The watch is large and pretty heavy which is hard to imagine looking at the photo. The face is beautiful and the silver really is a great look. The functions are pretty easy to understand (except for the E6B flight wheel which I doubt anyone would ever use, but it looks cool). I fully believe these are the best watches for the money on the market. The eco-drive is awesome and makes this unique. The only downside is that the instruction actually for both E81* and E82* movement watches, this is a E820. The book is for both but they are very different. The E81 has a annoying flaw in that the crown when pushed all the way in changes the function when turned. This means that in normal use the function would change by accident and when you look at the watch it may be showing the alarm setting or something other than the time. They fixed this on this watch and you need need to pull the crown out to position one to change the function. You have to be careful to go to page 40 in the manual to get the correct procedure for setting the time/date. I see many have spent lots of time and frustration trying to set the watch with the wrong process. Great watch!

Beautiful time piece
I just got my watch yesterday. I was a little Leary about the settings because I read a lot of reviews while the watch was in transit to me but once I got it & went to the web site I found that they supply a video that takes you through everything step by step. I then went to one of the sites that have exact time & set my watch by that. I can't wait until next month so I can compare the times to see how well it keeps exact time. I also want to say that the pictures on WOW's & Amazon do not do this watch justice. When I got it I was amazed at how beautiful it really is . My Son has a Bert navi & this watch looks just as good. I have been collecting watches for about 3 years now & this watch just took over first place as my favorite watch. Great watch & very reasonable price. Shop around because if your not in a rush you can find this watch for as low as $ 219.00

Very nice watch...it's the real deal
This is a fantastic watch...I have had Fossil or Relic watches over the years and decided to splurge on a very nice one. After getting numerous recommendations from friends, decided on a Citizen watch. It's a little tricky to set, still having issues getting the "leap year" calculator to record correctly but everything else went okay, it is very time consuming. For those of you wondering, I did have this checked by a Citizen dealer and it is the real deal. The watch band is men's standard, which equates to about 8.5 inches. It's a little snug for me so I called Citizen to get a few additional links (fyi, the first three are free). Once I get those, I'll take it to a jeweler to have them put on.Overall, I'm very happy with the quality and the look...I have huge hands and the face still looks good and not at all small.

Stylish watch to own...
I had a terrible experience with my last citizen's watch purchase and had to return it because it was used. I decided to give amazon another chance to make a watch purchase, but this time with a different vendor. while I am satisfied with this vendor, I gave this watch a 4 star because it came with no instructions manual. I downloaded the instructions from the web and watched a few YouTube videos. It is a complicated watch to set, but once you figure it out, it is so easy. I set my time, date and played with the alarm, chronograph, local time for other time zones and the extra measuring features, so cool. It is a sweet watch to own and feels good to wear. It does charge very well on its own. I am loving it so far. It is expensive, but worth the purchase.

This is a great watch - absolutely love it
I was on the fence with this watch as I was simply buying sight unseen from Amazon. Didn't know how it would look in person, wasn't sure if it was too big for my wrist - etc etc. But man, am I glad I bought it.First of all, let me echo some of the other reviewers here when I say that to set this watch is not hard at all if you simply do it while you're watching the video. Took me a few minutes to sort it out, but after that - no problem.Now on to the watch. It looks great - seriously good looking timepiece. I wanted something I could wear in the evenings with a sports coat and jeans as easy I could wear it to work. Mission accomplished. Add to that the perpetual calendar feature and you've got quite a winning combo in my opinion (as an aside - I didn't realize how much I would love the perpetual calendar but it is awesome not to have to rotate the clock to get the correct date to display when a month without 31 days comes along.It's now become my favorite watch in my small but growing collection. I've had a few Citizen watches over the years and I simply find them to be a great brand of watch. I have often spent time longingly looking at premium watches, but just can't justify the cost in my mind. Well since I've had this watch - I can say that my wandering eye has been settled for now.
