I recently adopted a dog, and I wasn't sure what would work best for me for a poop bags + dispenser, so I ended up buying this and the Earth Rated dispenser. The Sooty Paw bags are great, and the perfect size for my dog (she's small, 8 lbs, so it's not a lot to pick up), and the quality of the bags is good. The dispenser is great too. I love the notch feature that tears off the bags as you pull them out. It did take me a few times to realize that after I pull 1 bag out though, I have to immediately pull the next bag partially out. I didn't do that the first few times and the bag just rolled back inside and then next time I had to open the dispenser up to get the next bag out. Once I remembered to do that, it's been smooth sailing ever since! I have to say though, I don't use the belt clip to attach to my pants. It doesn't really work in the winter when I have my coat on, and what about in warmer weather when I'm wearing a dress and no belt? It does have the clip on top though, to attach to the leash, which is what I ended up doing. My problem though, is that I have a retractable leash with a thicker handle. Also, I found that I really loved a feature on the Earth Rated dispenser, it has a little clip on the back to hang the poop bag from after you've picked up the poop. Since I often have a ways to walk before we get to the nearest trash bin, it's nice to be able to just hang the bag off that and not have to carry it in my hand. Also, that dispenser came with a velcro loop that wraps around my leash handle nicely. So for now, I am using both dispensers. I looped my Sooty Paw dispenser through the Earth Rated loop also, so they are both hanging off my leash. That way I can pull the bag out of the Sooty Paw dispenser for easy tear off, and I can hang the used bag off my Earth Rated dispenser. If the Sooty Paw dispenser had a little hook for hanging the used poop bag off of, then it would be perfect for me. I could lose the belt hook, although I can see why that would work for many other people.

We're professional dog walkers in San Diego (Pridey Girl Petcare) and we go through a LOT of bags! SPP bags are well made, easy to rip off one at a time; my hubby LOVES the dispenser (it's too big for my taste, a ladies version in a slightly less bulky size would be great, hint hint). The bags are fairly priced (check the competition) for such high quality, large enough sized for big dogs and sturdy enough that I don't worry about tears (ewwww).

Overall, a very satisfactory product. Yes, depending on where you "hang" or attach the dispenser (we have ours attached to the leash), you can indeed pull off one bag with one hand. Why that is such a big deal I am not sure since it then takes two hands to unfold and open the bag. You also need to be sure to pull the bag out in a certain manner so that the perforated seem between the bags catches the tab on the dispenser. While it is not difficult to unfold and open the bag once dispensed, I would think they could have done something to make the opening a little easier. First, it is difficult to even ascertain which end of the bag is to be opened. Then that end does not have an offset between the sides of the bag to facilitate opening the bag. Overall, it is not hard to open, but it could be a little more convenient, especially when wearing gloves.Compared to the free grocery store plastic bags we used to use, this product was worth paying for and will spoil you.

Okay, so I never thought that I'd ever be writing a 5 star poop bag review on Amazon, but here I am. These babies are the King and Queen of all poop bags, seriously! The dispenser it comes with is great, and all the bags are perforated on the roll; however, these bags have a special gap in the middle of the perforation in order to tear the bag off much more easily, especially with gloves on. I like how these are black and you cannot see the contents of the bag, which can often be the last thing I want to see in the morning before I get ready to eat breakfast. Anyways, you will not be disappointed in picking up your pooches poop with these bad boys!

I have bought a lot of different kinds of poop bags for my little toy poodle and I like scooty paw paw ones a lot! The dispenser is really nice and actually being able to dispense one bag at a time is quite nice-They are also right about no odor escaping... I went on a trip in the wilderness with my dog and there was no trash cans anywhere. I carried the poop bag for miles and actually had to keep it in the car driving back to the city. No yucky smells at all the entire ride. I almost forgot about it when I got back.It's too bad it's not biodegradable though.

These are somewhat thicker and larger than the kind I buy at the pet store (though I still often use two bags with my basset)! Because it's gross not to. I can't see through them readily, which is a fine quality in itself!!! I liked their dispenser, which included a clip you can use if you don't have any pockets or belt loops. However, I have a leash with a built in dispenser, and I use that. I very satisfied with them. They are not Hefty double strength bags if you're thinking that thickness - but they are thick enough. 1000 ought to last me a while, I'm thinking.

I have 2 dogs and a cat, and I probably use a roll of these in about 2 days. They are a necessary evil in my household. These work well, not thin, so your hand doesn't pop through the bottom when you are trying to pick up "the business", which is awesome! So far, I haven't had a bad roll out of the box either, which is also great. As for the little bag carrier, it's definitely not something you are used to. Actually a decent design, once you figure out how to open it...took me a minute, but if you look close, it does have OPEN, etched into the plastic. Overall, good bags, nice price, decent bag carrier.
