Nice poles bur lightness compromises strength.
Poles are light, comfortable and easily collapsed. Broke a pole after a month's use trying to arrest a slip on icy ground. Clearly shear strength is compromised to minimise weight. Had to buy another pair as single poles don't seem to be available. Otherwise happy with my purchase.

Excellent product as always from Black Diamond. The shock absorbers protect your wrists from impact. I also use these to prop my Hilleberg tarps and they are perfect for this also.
