Great
I've enjoyed using this compost bin! It was so simple to set up, easy to put food in, and is good quality for withstanding different weather. The holes help get air inside to compost things though it's taken longer than I anticipated for the material to compost. When you open the door to the compost items, it is a bit difficult to close again.

Great bin for backyard composting.
Easy to assemble. I have two of these - they work really well. I don't use the side doors at the base. Size is perfect to hold a lot of material and to be able work inside of. I highly recommend the 4" auger with dual hand handles. This is my favorite way to ensure the best mixing and aeration in these bins. The 2" drill version doesn't move much material and I'm worried the torque from lifting the auger out will damage my drill.

Does the job well!
This compost was easy to assemble and is a great size. I have not had any smell issues and it’s working out very well for us. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish the top lid was on hinges. Every time I add to the compost I have to take the whole lid off and place it down. It would be a nice feature if I could just flip the lid up.

Would recommend
So far, so good. I have been using this for about 2 months and it seems great. It was easy to assemble and will hold a LOT of compost material. I was worried about the smell, but it has been fine. I also worried it would attract critters, but so far it hasn't. I tucked it into a discreet space in my yard. When I open the bin, there are fruit flies in it, but that is to be expected. The sturdiness of the bin is good, is thick, feels like it will hold up well. I'm excited to be able to use my compost material!

As nice as expected
If you want an affordable composting bin and you are new to composting this is the one to get. It assembled in less than 15 minutes (and I'm a girl). It also survived a wind storm right after installing it outside. I will say that one of the sliding access doors (there are four) was slightly bent so it's not easy to open, I'm fine with that because it's one of four, I don't even need four of them. It's not enough of a reason for me to return it. It's plastic and it seemed kind of flimsy so I'm not sure how I feel about leaving it out over winter, but it's small enough, light enough that I could just put it in my garage over winter. I haven't decided yet, we get a lot of snow here. Because it is plastic and a little flimsy I was worried about wind blowing it over or blowing off the lid. The lid snaps enough into place that I think only tornado type winds would remove it easily. The plastic tabs at the bottom stick enough into the ground that the lid would come off easier than the entire thing tipping over. Therefore, I think it's pretty windproof except for extreme cases. Now a lot of people said in their reviews about critters. I spray my garden where this is with deer and rabbit prevention stuff so I think most of the critters in my area are already going to avoid this. However, I did put some fine weave chicken wire underneath of it to prevent moles or anything else from trying to dig under the sides or get into from underneath so I recommend that people do that. The only thing that I wish were different about this bin is that i wish there were holes near the bottom to add some kind of staking and I wish the lid locked in place. That's the only thing I would change. But this was worth the money compared to the other things out there for similar prices or more.

The lid snaps on securely, assembly was quick and easy
It was simple to assemble, I have started my composting, seems to be working well, and composting process has started already. The top snaps on securely, I doubt it would blow off, even in strong wind. I will know more in the spring, but for now, and it has been down to 10 degrees for a couple days and windy, all seems to be just fine.

Great Design ~ Durable Construction ~ Good Price Point
I have had the opportunity to experience different types of composters. I had a tumbler which wasn't effective for my needs. I had enough property that I had a Geobin which I followed a review to create a 'tent' over and loved it. i downsized to a home that didn't have an area to utilize that design. I purchased 2 worm towers and really like them, though they require more care and some items like lemons in quantity aren't favorable. So I have been considering this bin for many months. I am so glad I made the investment. I will now give some ideas for those who like me are unable to secure the bin in the ground. I have a fenced gravel parking area on the side of my house. Having lived where rodents were an issue, I will share what I did on the geobin and with this one. I scraped the gravel away and set the base in place. On the bottom I bent and folder corners up sides several inches of rust proof wire mesh (with tiny openings you might use for soil sifting) I place 4 12X12 concrete pavers over the wire, leaving tiny space between each paver so that worms can crawl up through, but not mice. I purchased a bag of compost top soil and poured inside. the pavers will not interfere with turning with whatever tool you use. I have a short handled shovel that works well. I did add some of the worms from one of my worm bins, but there are also compost starter products. I don't have trees to add yard debris, so I purchased on amazon the bonsaii 12-sheet cross-cut paper shredder. I searched specifically for a cardboard shredder and a review there sold me. I purchased it along with some shredder lubricant sheets because I knew the shredder was going to be used a lot. So I shredded normal torn cardboard boxes for my brown material. After all is damp and mixed, I lay some newspaper over the top and tucked into the corners. As for the doors on the bin, I put 12X12 concrete pavers up against them. Yes, it took a little work to put what I wanted together, but it has been a breeze to use. No sign of rodent activity, although I know the neighbors have them. It's important to turn the compost regularly. I do it at minimum every other day. Manual aeration keeps it healthy. Even my worms in the towers do well with regular aeration. I love my worm towers, but this compost bin is going to be a lot less work.It is sturdy. perfect size in height and volume, the lid fits securely but is easy to open and remove. And I love the fact that I'm not sending all the unused scraps of produce to the dump. Happy composting

見た目は良いですが、あまり頑丈なものではありませんでした。ボロボロの箱に入っていてボルトが一本足りませんでした。
