Excellent Italian tuna steaks, makes USA canned tuna look like grade C
I bought this on a warehouse deal, absolutely loved it, went back and bought as much as I could find. I'll never buy USA grocery store tuna again.Basic salad concept;prep ahead 1 quart neutral oil, avocado, grapeseed, etc., zest 2 lemons, squeeze and reserve/freeze the juice, soak the zest in the oil for a few days.2/5 oz cans Rio tuna, leave a bit of packing oil and into a glass/steel bowl it goes. drizzle that lemon oil and some reserved juice over the tuna, add whatever your heart desires, minced garlic/shallots, capers, small diced artichoke bottoms, shredded carrots/olives/celery hearts, any and everything you like really. I do a tossed Mediterranean mix thing with canned octopus, and smoked prawns over a cob salad style plate. That's my favorite healthy plate a couple of times a week.Strain that zest out of your new lemon oil and you've got a nice basis for many new dishes. When I sauté something light and special i'll add a table spoon of lemon oil towards the end, finish with some juice, for a little pizzazzHave fun!

Love these, but
Best version of the Rio Mare on the market. Wish it was still $15 because the current price is too steep to afford now

Much better than American canned tunaa
Chunk texture and taste are excellent. Olive oil is light and adds to overall flavor. I wanted to replicate the tuna on salads I had in Florence, Italy. It comes close - not as large chunks as those but close.

DELICIOUS
This is the best yellowfin tuna I've taste so far. It's a little expensive so I had to take a break from ordering it. However, it's delicious and I highly recommend it.
