I bought this to upgrade my Rustler's performance and it's one of the best upgrades I have ever done, this product will upgrade the performance of you RC like you never imagine, not for kids

First time I ordered the box delivered was completely empty and had to re ordered. Second time around came on time and was excellent.

Product came quick. I switched to brushless because this car destroyed 3 Titan motors and it was slow. Installed the Velineon setup and oh my, this car never ballooned the tires ever. Did a quick blast and wow, couldn't hold it full throttle for long. Make sure you replace the High stall clutch for the slipper clutch and the 32p pinion. You wont be disappointed

Brushless is like a whole new world. Out with the old in with the new. This dropped right into my Traxxas Stampede. Paired with a 5500mah 50c battery this thing is quick like a nitro and does wheelies now. A bit expensive because you need the lipo batteries and a charger for them too when you make this upgrade but it's so much fun now!

I bought this for my 2WD Slash because I wanted a brushless system and a higher top speed. Installation wasn't too bad, and this is coming from someone that doesn't have much knowledge when it comes to electronics. Just watch some YouTube videos to help you out. I recommend the one actually put out by Traxxas Support. The hardest part is setting the gear mesh, which luckily Traxxas has a separate video for that as well.After installation, I immediately set out to see how fast my Slash would be with my new setup. The results were....underwhelming. Acceleration was definitely quicker, but top speed was about the same. I was pretty disappointed. Then I decided to buy a LIPO battery since I was running with the stock NIMH battery and man does this thing FLY with the LIPO. I'm currently using a 5000 MAH 3-cell and this thing is amazing! It's MUCH faster and even has quicker run times. I saw another reviewer with a 2WD Slash say they don't notice any difference with the motor, but I'm willing to bet they're still running the stock battery as well. I also upgraded to the Traxxas EZ-Peak Dual ID charger to make charging the LIPO's easier. The upgrade isn't cheap. The charger and one LIPO will set you back about $170, and that's on top of the new motor itself. In all, it's a great upgrade and I'm more than pleased with the result.

This is a great package. I also ordered an interior fan to cool down the ESC. However, installing the motor was hard. I’ve had RC Cars and trucks for over 30 years and had to take it to the shop to have it installed. Also, if you are going to invest in this, get a fan, it gets hot in there fast! Plus, it’s really worthless unless you are going to upgrade to Lipo batteries. It’s not worth the money without changing power supply and getting a fan.

This kit super charged my traxxas slash. I thought that it was fast but now I have trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground.

Seller(Canada Direct) was no help, I was sent back and fourth with traxxas and the seller, they said to contact traxxas again but since it was within 30 days they said to return it, Canada direct takes a 20% restocking fee and I have to pay for shipping as well, horrible experience. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

This kit took my 2WD Traxxas Slash from fast to absolutely insane. I am a speed junkie, and I rarely have the throttle at full because it's crazy. Well worth it for the performance upgrade. Be warned, this is not something I would hand a child.

Bought for stampede and omg what an amazing upgrade. Have to say it's a definite upgrade you will have to do. It's insane how much power that it has now. Only down fall is that other parts will need to be upgraded to steel as the plastic ones just wont hold up.

Upgraded my Stampede 4x4 xl-5 to this power house, and although I’m currently only running a 7 cell NiMh (2s LiPo is in the mail!), there’s a very noticeable improvement in not only performance, but overall efficiency as well (i.e. longer run time on a full battery vs. the previous setup). I will conclude my full review once I run 2s LiPo in it, but so far I couldn’t be happier with it! (other than the spur gear that it totally shredded, but that was lack of proper gear mesh adjustment on my part, so no one to blame there but myself lol

This motor has a lot of power like a LOT i highly recomend to upgrade your wheel hubs to metal and some deeper rims so they go all the way. The plastic one will strip and ruin your tires
