Raising Coturnix Quail for Meat and Eggs: the easy way

I thought the book was short but did provide good basic information on coturnix quail.

The book is a small, concise guide that is a great read for anyone thinking about raising and processing quail. Not an in-depth read, but a good overview to help you decide if it is right for you.

Bought it by accident, very short but informative.

Minimal info. Very short. Not worth $2.99. Recommend a different resource, since much more info can be obtained for free online.

Easy read. Provides a brief overview concerning how to raise quail. It provides very basic coverage of raising quail. It would have been nice to see pictures of other color varieties and information about how much space per bird.

Having read this short essay and having experience raising and hatching quail, I found the information very basic and perhaps just enough to get you started. But almost immediately you will find the need for more information necessary. If you are just trying to determine if such a project would fill your needs of interest, this short review of high points may serve that end. But you can find all the same information on Pinterest, and more, at no cost. For me the read took only a few minutes and was of limited value, but only because I have previous experience. My suggestion to anyone interested is to spend some time on Pinterest and when you feel you are interested in buying a book on the subject, spend some money and buy a good one with a sufficient level of information to really help you and provide a viable reference to you in the future. This isn't going to be it.

A good basic primer on getting started raising quail. There is nothing about problem solving or diseases, but just the basics. No nonsense, no fluff, so to speak. An easy, quick read, but some pictures are missing. Overall, recommended.

A great place to start for novice quail raisers. Some of the information was too specific to the author's locale.
