Q: Does it really take 1 to 2 months to ship?

No way! I received my 1/4 acre unit in less than one week, same for my indoor unit.

Q: How are you supposed to mount it 20-40 feet away from traffic areas if the cord is only 8 feet? Is it safe to plug into an extension cord?

Heavy-duty extension cords that are rated for outdoor use can be used if needed.

Q: What bait would go in this trap? I'm noticing 2 different kinds of bait when I try to purchase some but neither state this model number as an option.

no bait. the trap works all by itself. (uv light)

Q: Can the company confirm that the blub is not replaceable? if not, what models do have replaceable bulbs?

The bulb on this model is not replaceable. All of our 1/2-acre and full acre units would have replaceable bulbs. (DT1050, DT1100, DT1260, DT2000XLP, DT2000XL, DT1775, DT1750)
