We have a porous limestone shower floor that our new housekeeper used a hard abrasive with a brush to clean (we think she used comet). The reddish brown tile was left looking horrible and white from the abrasion and appeared to have no finish on the top of each tile remaining. Thought we would have to have a professional come in and re-polish (or worse replace) the tiles. Looked at other DIY options which required the used of sanders and other special equipment and many steps. They were also much more expensive and would take days. Saw this product and thought for the price, the worst that could happen would be that it wouldn’t work. Could not have been more surprised or happy! The instructions state to use a mop or wax applicator — I didn’t even have those — I used paper towels and a sponge. After the first coat, all the white disappeared and was completely gone. The tile color and finish came back (it is a low gloss, not high shine finish that came back perfect!). The grout in between also came back to life and had color. I let the first coat dry and then decided to go ahead and put on a second coat as an added protective layer. So glad I did, the whole floor looks brand new now. Hopefully, this will last after multiple uses in our shower. And we will be sure make our housekeeper use only porous stone cleaners. This product was a huge cost and shower tile floor saver!!
