Ingenious product!
These felt pads are perfect for cleaning.22 pistols. Way better than regular cleaning patches. They screw right on to the brass jag and get bore cleaner into the lands and groves when the patch doesn’t expand to the groves

Works if used right
A lot of mixed reviews on these, purchased for 9mm and 22 cal. I think the trick is need to thread these on to the adapter don't just push them on. Also you can in a way compress them on the jag or stretch a little to get a good fit. I use them with the iosso paste and feel I get a good fit. Able to run it back and forth and stays on the jag. Are these needed? For cleaner and iosso use think yes hold more cleaner and can apply paste on a larger surface area then a patch. For typical cleaning methods patches are fine, but for paste think these work really really well, for this use yes will buy more.

Tipton’s Felt Cleaning Pellets are great for ease of use in cleaning firearm barrels
The Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are much easier to use than either square or round cleaning patches. Pushing a square patch through with a jag can be hard (I’ve addressed that problem in two ways: 1. With scissors, make 3 or 4 cuts around the patch’s perimeter; and 2. Bought Tipton’s cleaning pellets :) To address two of the negative reviews, 1. The pellets come off when going back and forth. In doing two or three passes and not going past the muzzle, I have not yet had one come off. 2. Pellet lint came off in the barrel and ruined a barrel brush. After using three pellets with BoreTech eliminator and going B&F, I used a clean, dry pellet followed by synthetic patch. I found two small (~.2mm) on the patch. I also rolled a pellet over Scotch tape, and I did see 7 small pieces of lint. I compared touching a cotton flannel square patch, and again lint showed up on the tape. To sum up, the Tipton pellets are easy to use and clean your barrel well.

Great Gun Cleaning Find
I really like these. They are a good replacement for my old style mop in cleaning and lubricating the gun bore. I like to use them to apply Hoppe’s No. 9 Bore Cleaner. Then after cleaning the bore pull a couple patches through, followed by a clean plug and last the mop. Cleans down into the rifling extremely Hoppe’s No. 9 Bore Cleaner .

Not a good quality product.
Pellets do not stay on the rod/jag. They are only good for one pass through the barrel, then fall off.

They do the job, with a drawback…
They do the job well enough but they leave fibers from the pellet in the bore and they end up in the chamber also. Much prefer the VGL (?) pellets. They’re more compacted and don’t shed fibers.
