For $75, you can't beat it.
As the title states, it's synthetic leather, which I prefer for it's durability. If you are expecting a leather look and feel, buy a leather bag for triple the price. I work too hard to spend a fortune on parts like this. Other reviews mentioned it's size, specifically that it lacked in space. It is not spacious, but I didn't want luggage on my swing arm. This bag is a great way to add a little space, for a little money and requires little time and effort to install. I used durable black, vinyl-coated, nylon straps (originally hunting dog collar straps) to replace the Velcro straps that come with this bag. I have been looking at this bag for awhile and I'm happy I finally purchased it. I had hoped it would be large enough to hold a ball cap. This bag will hold a fitted 7.3/8 cap, but I wouldn't cram my favorite hat into such a small area. This bag will hold a small tool bag, a cell phone, your lady's jeans, or three tall boys. I'll be installing a 12 volt outlet in mine. All in all, I am highly satisfied.

Well made swing arm bag. Beautifully crafted.
The bag is a little smaller than I was expecting but it is well made. The straps hold it securely and it fits the swing arm nicely. The box contains the bag came in a larger box and the inner box had been opened before. The hard plastic backing had some light scratches like it had been installed before but the visible bag looked perfect. I fastened it with the buckles on the inside and it fits the large diameter of the swing arm perfectly. I can see where it could be loose on a smaller diameter rigid frame. Other than the slight stuffing I am happy with the purchase.

Great little bag!
I have a 2010 Softail Fat Boy and I needed something to carry a few items for my commute. This bag fits great on the bike and looks like it belongs there. The cost was very reasonable and it actually holds more than you would expect. I am able to pack my lunch with several cans of soda and close it securely. On weekends, my girlfriend can stash her small purse with our wallets and such in the bag when we ride together. The build of the bag is very good and I highly recommend it for someone that needs a little bit of room to carry items for a very reasonable cost.

Installed on my 2015 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy
I Installed the bag on my 2015 H-D Fat Boy. I didn't expect the 3 slot sets for the straps to line up exactly with my swing arm, the top (2) slot sets were pretty good, I should have used my Dremel Tool to make a new slot closer to the middle of the bag to line up with the lower bar of the swing arm. Pros are: The bag is a nice size to hold several items. It fit the bike fine, still room for my throw over leather saddle bags & doesn't effect the passenger foot peg. The stiff plastic back works fine as support. I used the self adhesive plastic film that came with the bag on the swing arms. I could have used the (3) straps, but went with what others have recommended, use heavy duty zip strips, it secured the bag tighter & made up for the slight misalignment of the slot sets. Even though it is not leather, the strong synthetic material is sturdy enough & looks good (see the attached photos). The quick release buckle straps are nice & a good idea. Cons are: The thick plastic back has sharp edges all the way around & on the backside of the (3) slot sets. The reason for 4 stars is because they manufactured the bag with rounded edges on the interior part of the (3) slot sets. So I ended up using the Dremel tool to round all the edges, then even went one step further & secured a sheet of vinyl cloth to the entire back with contact cement & then cut slits where the prefab slots are. This was like having an additional benefit to aid the self adhesive plastic film cushion the bags back to the swing arm preventing any possible rubbing of the paint. I am pretty satisfied with this Dowco "Willie & Max" swing arm bag & look forward to many years of use. Round the edges Dowco of your future bags & you definitely will earn 5 stars! Good job!

Great little bag
Great sturdy bag. I put it on myself and it took maybe 5 minutes. So far so good, I’m curious to see how long it will hold its shape. Will update review in the future. My bike is a 2022 Vulcan and it fits perfect.

Tip for easy installation
First this is a good quality good choice for this type of bag. If you want one exactly like this one with the Harley Davidson logo I spotted it at the local dealer for $269.00. No thanks. However, I tried three times to install this before I figured it out. From my experience I say step one is to throw away the leather straps that come with them. I tried twice to install it with the leather straps they provide, got frustrated and walked away. For one it is like the buckles on the leather straps are backwards. What I finally did is stopped at the local auto parts store and bought the widest largest zip ties they had. I then took a zip tie and fed it through the bottom hole and just started it. I then fed a tie through the two top holes and then pulled both of them tight. Once I had both of them tight I pulled the bottom one tight and clipped them all off. I pulled them tight and cut them off inside the bag for appearance purposes. The whole process with the zip ties took me about 5 minutes. I had wasted more time then that trying to attach them with the leather bands to no avail.

Great Bag!
I love this Swingarm bag on my Honda Fury. It is sturdy and looks great! It's not the biggest bag but I was going for minimalist.. The bag came with 3 slots in the back for easy connection. One thing that u would recommend is to but 14" zip ties to use in addition to the provided Velcro. With the additional support the bag is super strong and sturdy.. I also made additional holes in the 2 straps to allow me to fit a little more in the bag. I tested storage capacity in this manner and was able to haul 4 Kozy Shack pudding tubs.. Not too shabby!
