It took a while to pair with my phone, then it wouldn't record events only live video and its late. I installed a memory card in the slot and it still doesn't record, PIR is on, did every adjustment possible in settings and this product is officially junk. I installed the ring at my moms house and went the cheaper route for myself. I don't see use for this product unless you can sit and stare at your phone all day and maybe screen shot a potential intruder otherwise this is useless.sometimes the rings don't come thru and if they do it'll be minutes late and you wont see anything but live video after the fact, other times you get notifications and its just the doorbell acting up. waste of time and money.Update 09/05/19: unit has issues connecting with my phone so I cant even see live video anymore. I tried on my wifes phone as well. It needs to be repaired every other day and still has issues recording events. I might get 3 videos on a good day and miss 10 other events when someones actually at my door etc. Waste of money.Note this was the replacement for another defective camera and this one is now worse less than 3 months since initial purchase... Amazon needs to stop selling garbage if they're not going to refund defective equipment...

I like the picture quality but the batteries are no good I had to order new ones. While waiting on my new batteries it's given me time to really learn how to operate the camera features. I think the doorbell is of good quality. Can't wait to see how it hold up outside for awhile.

It just take forever to connect even if you are in the same network, is not uncommon to need 2 or 3 tries to connect.I have to mention that this happens even if you are really close to the wifi, seems to be a server problem.

everything about it is amazing except for the motion detection it keeps going off all the time when there’s clouds changes in the sunlight more times than not I have to turn the PIR detector off which makes it pretty much useless something needs to be done about it so that it doesn’t false alarm all the time !!!!

I liked this at first so I was stupid and tossed the box it came in. Now I'm stuck with it, but I am returning the second one I bought. The range to detect motion is terrible. I have it on the post right next to my steps & it doesn't pick up until they step on the stairs. Second even if I click it as soon as I get a notification it takes forever to load and by the time it comes up whatever it is is gone. My UPS driver had enough time to pull in, walk my package to the porch, drop it off, and get back in his truck before my camera even loaded. I just watched him drive off. Third if I try to go back and view where it's orange (detected motion) it never goes back there, it will skip to another one or back to the night before even though I have a SD card in it.

I purchased this doorbell and had so many problems. First, you need to know if you have a mechanical chime or digital chime. I had a digital chime. If you have a digital chime you have to purchase diodes from Amazon! Even with the diodes my chime keep ringing and ringing and would not stop. I called a trained electrical person to install the doorbell which costed me $130.35 and they could not get the doorbell working. There is no 1-800 number to call Customer Service. We came to the conclusion that something is wrong with the actual doorbell. I am returning it today.The picture quality and the overall camera is excellent but there are some things customers need to know before purchasing this device!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a nice looking item but, it is hard to install and it doesn't work very well, In my opinion I wasted my money.
