Still cutting everything
Well these are the best scissors I’ve ever had. Ever. I grew up in the era of “don’t use my good fabric scissors” these cut hair, weeds, fabric, wire, chicken wire, hard plastics. Pretty much everything you would need scissors for.

Tough and reliable.
These shears live up to the reputation of Milwaukee quality. They’re rugged and comfortable to use. After buying one for my garage, I immediately bought a second pair for use in my house. You won’t be disappointed after the sale!

Misrepresenting the Model
Milwaukee tools are good; no question.But the seller is misrepresenting what's being sold.They are displaying the 48-22-4040 with the black grippy handle inserts. And user pics show that's what some customers have received in the past. I will be buying more 47's but not from this seller, because that's not what's being sold.They are selling the 48-22-4047 without the inserts, identifiable by all-red handles. They sell at a lower price point because the black grippy material is an added manufacturing process which makes the scissors easier to handle, easier to cut more precisely. They just feel higher in quality.If "grippy" doesn't matter to you, you'll be happy with what they are selling. But you deserve to know what you're actually getting, and it's not the model being presented.

These blades have very little if any tolerance in them. Makes them cut very precise.

Awesome shears, Good for big hands.
This purchase was actual for shears # 2 and #3.. The first pair we bought was for my shop but made it into the house then my wife got a hold of them... I bought another pair for the shop and decided that I'd want another at my desk.I can't use many smaller shears as I cannot get my fingers through the holes, these fit well...Awesome when removing massive amounts of matted hair while grooming the dogs. I will never use cheap scissors again.

Expensive but worth it
There is a million cheaper pairs of scissors cheaper than these that i'm sure will cut just fine for a year or two but the construction of these ones feel like it will continue to cut great for a whole lot longer.
