do i need mounting brackets or is this kit complete??

This is the mounting bracket. You will also need a wiring kit and probably an antenna adapter.

Will this kit mount a kenwood dpx540bt in a 14 wrangler?

This will install a double DIN in a 2013 Jeep JK. Should work for a Double DIN up to year 2017 Jeep JK

Why does it not have the opening for the clips?? The clips on my trim piece are hanging and looks saggy

This kit doesn’t have that provision to hold the radio bezel in place beside the radio. I suppose some of the vehicles it fits don’t need the extra radio bezel clip provision.
