First of all, I wanted to use this product a few times before leaving a review. I have had constipation, gas, nausea and bloating issues for nearly my entire 28 years on this earth. It has been something that I have learned to deal with. It has gotten a little it better once I changed my eating habits and am no longer eating gluten (almost 2 years clean!). Just to give you an idea, I typically only have bowel movements maybe once a week if that. For the past few years I have taken a daily regimen of digestive enzymes and probiotics which sometimes help, but my body tends to get used to them and the stop working after a matter of months. So I usually rotate brands every few months or so and that helps me to "go" more often. About a month ago, I went on a family vacation and ate some foods that did not agree with me so well. I ended up with severe constipation for over 2 weeks. For the first time I took a laxative (Duplelax) and it did not work. Then I went online and began to research different foods and natural products that act as a laxative or stool softener. I came across Swiss Kriss and noticed that it got so many great reviews and wasn't filled with tons of chemicals. So I decided to give it a try. The first time I took it, I only took one pill. I waited 24 hours and had no luck, but extreme flatulence. So then I took 2 pills and within 4-6 hours it definitely got things flowing and I was able to "go" twice in the next day without diarrhea. I then waited a couple of days and took 2 more...waited 12 hours and took 1 more and again I was able to go, but I had diarrhea for about 6 hours which wasn't fun, but at least I was cleaned out! Then I waited another couple of days and took two pills and had no luck for the next 48 hours. Finally, last night I took 2 pills and have been able to have small bowel movements. I think I may start to take 2 pills daily because I can definitely feel that the product does get things moving, but just not always to the point of having a movement for me. The pills are small and easy to swallow. They are green with a bit of a peppermint smell and taste. I typically just swallow them with water. I think I will definitely buy this product again. It has been the best so far in getting my digestive system to be as regular as possible. I have learned that I cannot expect miracles. If I got at least "go" 3-4 times a week then I will be happy and feel less full/bloated. If anything changes then I will definitely update my review.
