Sentosphere Aquarellum - Horses Magic Art Canvases

I bought the dragon set first, then the horses because the kids wanted to do more. With each of my grandchildren separately: girls 11 and 13 and a boy 10, I sat beside them and we painted our own panels. The paints are very high quality, rich deep colors, and the pictures are interesting. It's easy to make the paintings look good, because of the dividing lines between sections, but it's also very engrossing and not overly simple. It can be more or less intricate depending on the person doing it. There are instructions for mixing colors and a very precise method of doing it with a pipette, which they all loved. The second set was fun because we had even more colors to work with. We had lots of fun discussions about dragons and horses and colors and then lots of things. I was impressed that they all took it seriously, which only happens with quality materials that make them feel taken seriously themselves. I thought these were expensive, but they were worth the price and more for the quality time they gave us. Such experiences with older children are not easy to find, so I was grateful for these sets.

MY grandaughter loved it

Grandkids love it. I got one for the younger one (5) and the older one (10) broadly hinted she wanted one too for her next birthday. The paintings leave room for creativity. And yet the lines on the paintings are slightly raised and guide the water color somewhat, producing an attractive end result.

My granddaughter and I love to just sit and do these together. The colors are bright and beautiful. The color recipe chart teaches how to mix basic colors into others. The designs with the resist inbetween the color areas makes the painting cleaner. There is a photo of the design colored in, but it's only a suggestion and we can use any colors we want in the set.

These kits are great! They are high quality. Kids learn about mixing colors. And, sometimes the finished product is once enough to hang for awhile.

My girls, ages 13 and 16 loves these! They will sit together for hours listening to an audiobook and painting these. Great buy, can't wait to get more!Too advanced for my 9 or old son, but he isn't great with small motor skills- still writes big and sloppy and colors pretty sloppy- would probably be fine for younger kids with better fine motor skills?

est un tres bon produit, ma fille est fan de chevaux et le systeme de rainures est tres pratique, avec un peu de patience, le resultat est tres beau, meme pour les enfants qui n'ont pas forcement l'ame d'un artiste! ^^ de plus, une fois terminer, cela peut faire un tres beau cadeau a offrir a papy/mamy! il est aussi pratique de pouvoir acheter des planches de recharge sans avoir a tout racheter car il reste beaucoup de peinture a la fin.. rien a redire.. vraiment! je recommande ce produit.

Cadeau de Noël arrivé bien à tant. Cependant les motifsoirs n'étaient pas ceux choisi donc un peu déçue pour une fan de chevaux d'avoir la coccinelle et autre insectes

Bien apprécié par ma petite fille de 6 ans, qui a su l'utiliser toute seule ,et a été ravie du résultat;A conseiller aux enfants(un peu minutieux quand même) entre 5 et 7 ans.
