Great product at reasonable price. Copes well with linen sheets and light and easy to use. As others have said it could be easier to see level that water is at in tank but just a minor point.

I had a Morphy Richards Iron before - this one looks fabulous. The soleplate is different and does not glide so easily which is disappointing although I am sure I will get used to it. The ease of use is great, large tank to fill with a jug. Push buttons for on/off and amount of steam required. Different way of descaling but I always use demineralised water so should not be a problem. Hoping it will last a long time!!

Good Speed Steam Generator Iron and being a Morphy Richards iron it is a marvellous iron.

I loathe ironing!!!! or at least I did until the purchase of this fabulous steam generator iron. Firstly the design. The iron sits on the base at a good angle, and due to the open ended top handle, you just slide your hand onto the iron and away you go. The steam button is under the handle so it is with great ease that you simply hold it in to produce great amounts of steam that will go right through sheets that are folded in 4, no more continually refolding etc, one run is enough. On the base you can choose from little amounts of steam, to medium or full blast. I have used the iron on linen, cotton, silk, viscose and wool. Everything came up looking as new with so little effort. Also, no spots of water were left on the items. My one complaint is that my glasses steamed up!! I would highly recommend this Morphy Richards 333203 Speed Steam Generator Iron, 3000 W, to anyone who needs to make lighter work of their ironing load.

This was a disappointment looks great but comes to uk with a 2 prong plug on it. Unfortunately had 2 return.

Not the cheapest iron but worth the money. It generates a lot of steam and easily irons both sides of jeans for example. It has a large capacity tank so you are not constantly refilling it. The instructions say you can use tap water but we live in a hard water area so still use distilled water. The only criticism I have is that the iron will not stand up due to the power cord so after you have ironed an item you have to place the iron back on the base unit. Other than that, it’s good and I highly recommend you get one.
