Budget phone without a budget performance!
I've had this phone for a couple of weeks it having replaced a Sony L1 which I loved. I had intended to buy a new Sony phone, but Amazon had a deal on the X19 for £119, I've had a Cubot before & was impressed with it's performance. Cubot consistently put out decent phones at decent prices so I wasn't worried about buying a Chinese phone. The phone has a very clear & crisp display, it has marginally better signal strength than the Sony & no real lag when opening apps as would be expected given the phone's good specs. everything works as it should. It came with Android 8 & promptly updated to android 9, there is no bloatware!, the fingerprint sensor works flawlessly & fast. I've tried it with other fingers & it won't unlock so it seems secure, if the sensor gets dirty it even tells you so! the dual sim card is useful for those with a works phone, which means you don't need to carry 2 phones. you can set what sim for calls, text or web use. The bluetooth is very good, it has no problem linking to headphones, or my car. the battery life lasts all day even under heavy use & the Cubot charger is quick to charge. This phone even comes with a screen protector & a gell case, the gell case fits well & is skinny enough that it doesn't add any bulk to the phone, so that's an improvement on previous gell cases! The camera is good, I use it at work & even when moderately cropped it has decent resolution, colour & sharpness. The phone is not heavy & the mag mount on my dashboard holds it securely, though you;ll need to apply a self adhesive metal plate. to the phone or the cover If you are looking for a budget phone with a decent spec & works well this is it!

Great for the price
Phone is very good. The screen quality, colours and resolution are great. The phone fits your hand well, looks great and feels well built. The layout and generally workings of the phone are also great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the speakers are low quality. If you're big on playing music through the phone speakers or just watching videos etc you may be disappointed

Amazing phone for the price
My Wileyfox Swift was showing its age, mainly by randomly rebooting at an ever increasing rate. Time for a new phone. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a go. I have only had it a few days, but so far I am blown away by it. It is fast, responsive, the fingerprint unlock works flawlessly, the camera is OK (I use a DSLR when I want really good pics), and the battery life is a big step up for me. It comes with a nice rubbery case that slips over the back, which gives very nice grip - the phone without it is very sleek and slippery and I would drop it every 5 minutes. As others note, the slightly smokey colour of this case does rather obscure the lovely blue gradient cover I opted for, but I can live with that if it stops me dropping it. It arrived with Android 9 on, and so far I am very pleased with it. Astounding value when you look at the price of some of the premium brands. As far as I can see, apart from the lack of NFC which I am not interested in, I really don't understand what you are paying for on some of these other phones. The only thing I really don't like about it is the non-removable (and so non-replaceable) battery.

POTENTIALLY VERY GOOD
This phone was very quick and easy to set up. It came with a silicon back case. The screen was incredibly sharp and clear. The microphone was very good. Unfortunately after two and a half weeks the phone made a loud noise, powered off, refused to power up for ages and when it did my contacts and email account had been erased and dome apps had been closed and would not work. Phone has been returned for a refund without issue.

It's good for the price.
I had my Huawei mate 10 pro stolen. I wasn't on a contract/insured so crap situation, but my own fault. I then got a vvv cheap smartphone which struggled with all the basics. I then did tons of research on non-top-brand decent smartphones and went for this. It's decent. It's fast, games & streaming no problems (and my broadband is cheap!), loud alert tones, (video volume is poor) lovely big bright screen though (much bigger than it looks in the ads) and big fonts. The only thing that lets it down is the camera, which is so bad. It shouldn't be advertised as in any way good. Photography options are so limited, as in nothing except silly filters - you can't get good shots with it, they're all saturated and sharp or blurry. I'm used to the Huawei type cameras and they're incredible. I'll be going back to Huawei soon because the camera to me is very important.

Lovely phone
I had to replace my old phone (a Moto G4 which I'd had just over 4.5 years) because it was running Lollipop and was becoming incompatible with app updates (especially banking apps). It still had decent battery life (3 days between charges) and was small and light, but it reached the point where I knew I had to replace it. So after a lot of research, I settled on this Cubot X19. I've had my X19 for a few weeks now - I wanted to let it settle in a bit before I wrote a review. Firstly, I LOVE the colour - it's amazing! The effect is spoiled a bit by the clear plastic case (which is supplied in the box), but you don't have to put that on. Mine came with Android 9.0 Pie preloaded and has all the standard Android apps, but isn't full of random extra junk like Samsungs are. Battery life is proving to be as good as I'd hoped - it's lasting 5 days between charges now that I've settled down to my normal usage levels (checking e-mails, reading websites, etc.). The camera seems fine to me (in spite of other reviews) - if I were a professional photographer, I'd use a proper camera with an optical zoom - but for random memory snaps out and about, this is fine. Excitingly (to me, anyway) it has a notification LED! These seem to be very rare these days and I can't understand why manufacturers have stopped including them - they're so useful. It can blink different colours if you install an app to control it (so you know whether it's blinking because it's an e-mail or a text or you've missed a call or any other type of notification). The only downside is it's quite a short blink and I haven't found a way to increase the length. But since the alternative seems to be no notification light at all, even a short blink is infinitely better! So there we go. All the signs are that it's an excellent phone - I just hope it lasts me as long as my old one did!

X19 Very Dissappointed
I recently purchased this Phone ( x19) and was very unhappy from the moment I turned it on where notifications for anything did not work even when I had enabled them , eventually I got help from CUBOT to enable reset and enable but it stopped working again after a couple of days. The phone then only a week old turned off and would not power back on. Phone returned to Amazon who where very helpful with my issue. Good price but maybe I should have stayed with the bigger brand phones and paid the extra !

Great phone
I purchased this phone for my wife who's usually a huge apple fan-girl and she's really happy with it so far. Battery life is better than her previous iphones, screen is crisp and can be dimmed quite dark for night time use, the colour is nice and the phone feels good in the hand. Something to be aware of is that mobile data settings may not work right away depending on your network, we're with Sky and had to manually input the APN but this took less than a minute to do and the phone works flawlessly now on wifi and mobile data. Only complaint is that the case included is a smoky colour instead of crystal clear which dulls the look of the back of the phone, but that's just a cosmetic thing and personal preference. Overall the phone feels like the quality you'd expect from one of the bigger brands at a fraction of the cost.
