A nice looking fixture and different from a lot of fixtures out there. I installed mine where a light fixture already existed. The old fixture install matched what was needed for this new one, so I was fortunate. The install was easy but a bit akward, so having an extra person to hold the fixture for you while you connect wires and attach to the ceiling is a plus. The two bulb sockets each have their own set of wires (hot, neutral and ground). Looks great on my porch ceiling overhang. I like it.

I've been looking for lighting that was a modern, industrial, doesn't leave the bulb glaringly exposed, and affordable. The only affordable light that i kept seeing are the schoolhouse lights and they just seem so "overdone" at this point. I changed my search criteria to look at outdoor lights and found this. It's perfect.I bought one and decided i liked it so much i would change out the lights in my kitchen and went ahead and bought two more. The glass globes are nice, thick, and frosted. The light creates a nice glow rather than the harsh lighting associated with exposed bulbs. The light is fairly easy to install. The only "problem" with the install is that the light has a lot of insulation and i had a bit of a hard time lining up the screws from my fixture receptacle with the holes in the light's base because of it. The total time from switching the power off until it was back on and bulbs were burning was about 15 minutes.Installed, it looks much more expensive than the $31 price point.

Item came in a box that had been resealed numerous times. The packaging qualified that this piece had been "inspected" on numerous occasions. The instructions were generic and did not apply to this particular fixture. The fixture itself was in fine shape. A "new" package of installation hardware , 2x screws and 3x wire connectors, had been added. Larger than expected for an outdoor source. Having a little previous knowledge, installation really depended on the condition of the location that this was being added to. The two bulbs added exceptional light. Overall, a happy camper. A nice fixture.

My husband put it up and it didn't take long at all so let's say easy to install ;-) It looks fabulous! We were selling our home on the water and wanted something a little classy and nautical, but not your average Home Depot/Lowes nautical-look light for over the front door so found this and WOW! Plopped a couple palm trees on either side of the front door and looks like a million bucks. Highly recommend, looks impressive!

I was hesitant to puchase this product after some of the reviews stating it was so difficult to put up. Decided to give it a shot and try it anyway. I beleive that the insulation being as thick as it is (which is a good thing) is probably what is giving others trouble lining up the screws. Take your time lining up the screws and compressing the insulation enough to install the fixture and you will find it is really not hard to install at all. They are very attractive when installed (ours are under a car port) give off a good amount of light, and are a nice size. Have not had them long enough to rate how the finish will hold up, and will update this review if there are any problems.

I read several reviews before purchasing this light. Several said it was hard to install. I have some carpentry experience and had the old porch light down and this one up in about 15 minutes. It installs just like any other ceiling mounted light fixture. If you have any experience with mounting ceiling lights, this will be easy.As for the light quality, it is decently built. My only concern is if the glass globe would break, you probably cant find a replacement. I have never seen this size and shape before. As long as I don't do anything dumb like drop the globe while changing bulbs (Knock on wood) this should be a great light.

I chose this to replace an outdoor front porch fixture that I have had issues with excess bugs in the fixture. I hoped the design would keep the bugs out of the globe area, and it does just that.The brightness of the light is much better than the one replaced.Fit & finish are good, and the fixture matches well with our design theme.Installation was very easy, no issues there.Highly recommended.
