Worth the money
Amazing panel, works great i get anywhere from 70 to 90 watts with it laying basically flat.

Good for Vanlife.
These panels are awesome. They out put as advertised and are very easy to work with. they can deal with up to 85 MPH highway speed for serval hundred miles. they tanked a light hail storm with no issues. These are 100% good to go. they are nice and rigid and will fit in a roof rack using 80/20 aluminum extrusions. If you need wattage on your van build this is what you want to go with. I run a 12v fridge, work labtop, gaming labtop, 4kw inverter, lights, fan, a ton of stuff. I can run a 5000 BTU AC unit off nothing but the noon sun on a clear summer day. These will keep the lights on.

Everything I was looking for, A real solar panel.
I originally tried to save money and buy a different brands and it turned into a nightmare. Inconsistent output and panel failures kept me quite busy with returns and installing new panels just to have them die within or just after the return period. After returning the other panels and buying 8 of these, I have to say I am totally amazed by the quality all around. The box, how the panels were packed, how easy it was to remove the panels from the box, technical specifications with temperature coefficients on the panels itself. Each panel has an individual serial number for the warranty. This is something you won't find on a lot of 'cheaper' panels. By paying the premium which in hindsight was well worth it, I received a 10 year warranty on the panel itself which is guaranteed to not have hot spots as it ages. The panel also comes with a guaranteed power output graph over the years. I have the specifications to know if the panel is failing or working as it should. Everything I've seen so far tells me they stand behind their products. From Testing to testing after installing the ground mount solar rack, all panels are consistent, arrived in pristine condition and most of all, performs as the manufacture says they would. The frame is made of a thicker material and the quality of everything is top notch compared to the other panels I've purchased and reviewed. Since installing these panels, I discovered my solar irradiance monitor is showing low and needs recalibration. There are many panels that are less and seem very attractive. After everything I've been through, I will buy Renogy from now on. I highly recommend this brand and panel for anyone who is doing a DIY solar project. this outperforms even the best of the 'cheaper' panels purchased before now.

Very well made in a bargain
Well, built and not too heavy. I use them every day on my sailboat in the Caribbean. They are a bargain better by them before Import Duty goes up

Good so far, very difficult to get them to ship on time
The panels (5-stars) work well...when... ...they actually get around to shipping them to you. I've eeduced 2-stars because of the aggravation with shipping. The vendor/Amazon will claim that the item has shipped, for weeks, but the truth is revealed as UPS (the record of truth) always denies receiving the the item(s). You may get the item in 3 weeks. This situation is worse if the panels are on sale (10% off, etc) - even longer transit times. You may get the item in a month or more. So the panels are very good but shipping games are terrible. Also, the vendor hasn't figured out how to use packing tape (say 3-4 8" pieces), so that their overall good packaging won't pop open - with damaged items eventually arriving. To be fair, they will provide you with a UPS label to send them back. This is good. Those responsible for these Renogy fulfillment blunders should be replaced, yielding more profit for Renogy and more satisfied customers that spread the word. I am ready to buy 6-7 more of these 200W panels, but...what further headaches will I be dealing with? It is amazing how some of these companies manage to make a profit. This isn't rocket science! One smart person put in charge of fulfilling orders, and like magic, business would improve a lot. I will update this review when I attempt this drawn-out journey again. Update 10/4/24: This last panel ordered arrived quickly and in a nice new sturdy box. See what happens when the smart people get involved. Adding one more point!

I ordered 1 Renogy 100 watt panel to try them out. This panel works very well! 4.9 Amps in noon sun in March in Canada. Using a Renogy Rover Elite MPPT charge controller, the output peaked up to 6.5 A to the battery at noon. I have 2 other economy brand 100 Watt panels that only produce 3.5 A each in the same place and time. I just thought the sun was not that strong in Canada, but comparing the Renogy panel vs economy brand panels show how good they are. I will buy more of these Renogy panels.

Renogy makes great panels, I have 6 of them in total. All but this one have come in great condition. I thought from looking at the box that it was going to be smashed, but it wasn’t. There was tape everywhere on the box. All the Renogy panels I received before had no tape, and this one had lots. There was big dent on the top rail of the aluminum and one corner I had to play with to get it to look better, corner not fit well because of dent next to it. I would have sent it back just because of that but the 175w hard panels are hard to find and are expensive. I should have just got the 200w panels. There seems to be lots of them around and cheaper. I still need one more 175w panel to complete my string. I am just thinking of getting a 200w panel. It’s a little bigger but don’t want to pay extra for smaller panel, and also wait till they have any in stock. I test the panel and it seems to still be working good. Haven’t had much sun lately, to test real output of it. I guess we live and learn.

Most what I like is the compact size and weight of the panel. Came in no problems and worked from the get go! Bought some Z brackets for it too. Fits like a glove on top our Motorhome and keeps my batteries topped up all summer. Thanks Renogy you guys rock!
