GearLight LED Headlamp Flashlight S1000 - Powerful Broadbeam Camping and Outdoor Headlamps - Construction Hardhat Compatible Safety Head Lamp Light

Used this last night as I was installing something in the garage, and lighting in there is less than useful. Inserted the included batteries and fired the thing up and it worked really well. Did not have to review any instructions to get it up an running, it was very intuitive. There are 3 light settings, bright, "not as" bright and flashing. The headlamp stayed on the entire time I had it on, and never felt like it would fall off. Guess if you had to complain about anything, is the battery compartment is a little bulky and, you always have to cycle through the light settings - bright --> less bright --> flashing --> off --> bright. As I was going from garage, to the house and garage, I would have to click multiple times to shut it off. I guess I could have just left it on. But small annoyance and have had others in the past behave differently (would shut off immediately after you have been on a certain mode). All in all, good buy, would recommend.

Honesty here. For the $ it is a decent light. I immediately ditched the AAA battery holder for the convenience of a single 18650 Samsung 25R.The light output is decent.. I wanted more, so I put a new mcpcb with a larger and more yellow SMD. Switch, on the top right side of the of the lamp assembly-different from the Danforce headlamp I have. Which is located in a easier to find at first, in the middle on top of the assembly. This GL one I found myself fumbling for the switch a bit.The click button is hard plastic. Sturdy. It's a good modifiable headlamp and solid choice if you can't spend more $. My only quarrel is with the glass lense, which has a plastic grey shroud for asthetics. Unfortunately, the glass is press fit/epoxy in and the lense with shroud- instructs about 40% or more of the usable light.

We recieved the light two days ago. I have Multiple Sclerosis and working in high temps is bad for me. I used this light when I was planting the garden at sunset as it got dark. It's amazing, I think we're going to order another one. We really like how you can intensify the light and make the area smaller or make the area larger for the light but a tad dimmer. We really like the rechargeable feature as well. We have used similar products in the past but this one I believe is the best. Thank you for an AMAZING product and taking pride in your products.

This is huge, clunky, cheaply made, and very heavy. The battery cover is a flimsy piece of rubberized plastic that is a bit too large for the battery compartment and barely held on. The battery compartment sits at the back of the head and has a coiled wire that runs along one side to connect to the lights on the front. I use my headlamp to get into tight spaces in engine compartments and for camping and hiking. This is way too big for engine work and way too heavy to wear for any extended period of time.

Very nice product! I liked the first one I received so much that I immediately I bought two more. Extremely bright on high (don't look right at it!), and the light beam is clear and focusable (no shadows!). Also has low, strobe, and SOS functions. Very high quality construction throughout, except the battery cell that holds three AAA batteries seems a little fragile and may be a weak spot. Only real question is how long the switch will hold up over time, but at this price I recommend the headlamp wholeheartedly!

Bought this a year ago and have love using it ever since. It gets a lot of use too and is still working just a good as the day I got it. It’s not the brightest headlamp out there but it’s bright enough to work in dark places or at nighttime or if you’re camping, whatever your needs are. My boyfriend kept stealing my headlamp because he too liked it so much (and often misplaces his own 😆) so I bought him one too.His headlamp broke right away (this was almost a year ago so I don’t remember what was wrong with it exactly) and the seller replaced it right away and free of charge. The replacement has worked wonderfully ever since. The only issue I could bring up, and this is not that big of a deal, would be that the battery cover on my boyfriend’s headlamp ripped through the small metal ring that kept it attached to the headlamp itself. It does not affect it’s ability to hold the batteries in place, it’s just easier to misplace if you don’t keep it on the unit. Other than that, I would definitely buy again.

Another great Gearlight product, super bright adjustable headlamp setup. Keep your hands free while you can see everything you need to while working in tight spaces. Great for camping, hiking or looking for stuff in the attic. Everything is adjustable and well made to last a long time. Happy camper!

I like that it is hands free. It has led light. I does zoom as stated. Another thing I like about it is that the battery cover has a ring on it so you can't lose it. I thought I had and discovered this neat feature. I intend to keep it around when we have power outages. I am sure I will use it at other times as well. Batteries are included. Everything it states on the ad is true. It is adjustable. It does have a strobe. Handy to have around.
