So Much to Love
Scott Snyder came up with another banger storyline. Can't stress out enough on how much hype this story created and it lived well upto the hype and it sneakily opens new paths for future issues making you buy more comics for the story.Absolutely loved it, anyone who loves Batman and is not completely oblivious to the Justice League will love it. One small caveat, if you only rarely read comics, you will find yourself a bit lost, best option for it is to watch some videos on YouTube by Comicstorian or Variant to catch up

Snyder still the best writer in DC Comics.

Poor packaging of the book
Bought it as a gift for someone. However the book arrived with slightly warped edges and marks on the cover. This looks due to the poor packaging of the product. Expected a lot better for such costly book.

Great Read, Book damaged
Wonderful read, but several pages throughout the graphic novel has many folds and creases... Not happy about paying a book for this price.

Awesome Culmination of Snyder's run
While it may not have worked for some who prefer a dark, brooding Batman, in my opinion, Snyder's run is my favorite Batman run, and one of my favorite comic book runs of all time. It had great storytelling, with clear defined arcs and good characterization, and probably the best Batman artist of this generation in Greg Capullo. Right up my alley. Then they follow it up with Dark Nights: Metal. Admittedly, it's a very bombastic blockbuster story, with not a lot of characterization and deep thought required to enjoy, but the reason this works for me is because we are already so familiar with Snyder's Batman characterization, that we get what is happening with the story already. For me, reading this in the middle of the King run provided such a great breather and change of pace from depressing and dark story-telling. The story's premise revolves around a dark multiverse with different versions of Batman that try to destroy the main universe, i.e. most crisis stories or any other big Marvel/DC story. But what makes this great is how it keeps everyone apart, Batman is doing his own thing for most of the story, while the rest of the heroes try to hold down the fort throughout the universe. There are many surprising appearances by many characters that I didn't expect, but were happy to see, such as Hawkman and Mogul, plus one more that I definitely didn't expect at all, but is a big spoiler, so I won't include. Capullo's art couldn't be better, with amazing pencils and coloring and inking by the same art team FCO Plascencia and Jonathan Glapion. Capullo goes full Spawn here with great details on gore and blood, and while it may seem a little gratuitous, works perfectly for what's happening in the story. In summary, great story and great art, and great conclusion for Snyder's Batman run (but we do have Last Knight on Earth still), while also providing a jumping off point for Snyder's Justice League run. Great recommendation
